Cleanliness and amenities- no handwashing liquids or soaps in bathroom.

Location, good views for now (until the empty block next door is developed) and very close to the beach

I would expect that even a budget hotel would have doors that locked and a tv. This place failed on both counts, the tv had no remote and therefore was useless. The staff were unhelpful and told me the manager would call - they never did.

Old, worn, broken doors that didn't lock, tv didn't work well- didn't get every channel and no wifi so no streaming. Kitchen had very old electric stove top- made cooking difficult.

Location was great. The facilities within the complex were fantastic.

There was no supplies of tea, sugar, etc. No spare toilet paper that I could find. No hairdryer, not that I needed one, just that it is sort of excepted. Getting in initially was more complicated than I was expecting. The place was not overly clean. Dirty cups in the cupboard, spare pillows in odd places. The drawers not in their correct places. Someone’s (new, unused) sanitary pads still in the drawer.

The property was dirty including mold in entree shower, previous stays things left in fridge. The stairwells are well worn and stink of smoke. Pictures definitely made out the property for something it’s not.

Close to everything. Great space inside unit. Mostly clean in the living areas and beds presented/made well. We would stay here again as weather prevented us from doing much.

The little things. Blinds in bathrooms gross and dont close properly. Bath quite dirty - we all used the shower in the ensuite. Kettle and microwave were dirty. Kettle needs a wipe, I cleaned the microwave. No hand towels anywhere? Didnt think 3 star meant no hand towels? Coffee and sugar but no tea? No milk… maybe 3 star?

The key was not left out for us, so we had nowhere to stay after paying $342
