Myrtle Beach Resort by Beach Vacations

The unit I rented needed some updates, curtains,couches, paint looked like it hadn't been remodeled since the 80's. It did have updated appliances. It was a pain to have to check in a different location than where condo was, and was put on hold forever. Great that it was gated, needs more handicapped parking for cars and motorcycles.

We called the hotel ahead a time to confirm late arrival. We were told that the packet would be at the security gate. We got to the gate at 4am an nothing was there. The security guard was so nice but we had to go to another location. We get to this location and need a lock box code and did not have one. We go back to the resort and the security guard called someone over and over again and nothing. We finally had to go sleep over on Walmart’s parking lot until 9:00am when the other office opened. We get there and no one wants to help us and when they did they we nasty. They told us it was our fault did not offer to take off the night we missed. We told them we did not want to pay for that night and they finally took it off. I would not deal with these people again. The resort it self was wonderful.

Check in and out is a nightmare. 20 mins away from the property to check in. The bed was absolutely terrible. It was hard as a rock! The bed is along the wall to the hallway and so loud at all hours of the night. The door to the patio was so hard to open you had to use two hands and full body force to open it!

Room was old and musty smelling. Also, several of the lights did not work, and guest bathroom shower did not work. Staff was not very friendly either. I left early to find better accommodations.

it sucked, nobody told me i had to go to them management company that was 30 minutes away from the resort, so i went there to get the kids after hours, had to drive another 30 minutes the next day to actually check in, and had to drive another 30 minutes when i left to take the keys back. The room was terrible, woke up every morning about 5:30 because of the sprinklers hitting the back glass sliding door. Wasn't everyone parking around the room so had to park 3 buildings over just for a parking spot and it was crazy trying to carry a 1 year old in a carseat that far. Very disappointed in the whole trip..... thanks alot

it was close to the beach, and it was big enough for my me and my family, it was clean and quiet

I had a very spacious room. Bigger than expected. Wasn't very happy that I was told I would have a room with ocean view but didn't. Didn't like the fact that I couldn't check in until 4pm on arrival day but had to check out on my departure day by 10am. Othet then that I enjoyed my stay.

This management group for this unit was not located on the property. After driving six hours and arrive at resort we found out we had to drive eight miles to they unit management company, in that traffic was 30 min away to. Then found that the unit was not ready ( no one had been staying in it, some remodeling had bee done the week before and they had days to clean but had not. They told us check in started at 4:00 and went to 9:00 that night. I have never heard such BS in my life . It was nearly 8:00 before we got into our condo. If you are renting from this resort be sure it is managed by on site group. The property was not bad it was just how it was managed. This ownier May have save a couple bucks on management but we will not be back

The hotel was very nice as usual. One of the twin beds in the 2nd room was slightly hard but some folks could like that. I'm glad weather was wonderful while there.
