Trianon Hotel

So close to the things we wanted to see and the metro. LOVED the breakfast.

It was ok and nice for the price. The staff at the reception was nice.

I needed an economical place to stay. The carpet in my room was not in good condition and stained so that detracted from the overall impression. I wish I had figured out how to book closer to downtown & asked more questions about shuttle service which they didn’t have but they did get me a cab to the airport — not cheap 50 euros I think. I was in a rush when I booked it & at that time didn’t know what to look for. Now I know - economical is good but also transportation to the airport (via shuttle) tho to be fair, I did find it fine on metro but had to leave too early and who knows if the metro would be on strike. So close to buses and also shops to buy some groceries and get snacks or such. I noticed there were a lot of people there for their breakfast which I didn’t get but it seemed ok. And the fellows at reception were very nice. (Hmm if I’m not mistaken, there was some vague info about shuttles available but that wasn’t the case so that bugged me).

Highly dedicated team. Helped with our tour of Danube and made our vacation great!

Adequate hotel in good quiet location but the air conditioning did not work and it was so hot I did not sleep at all. Other people I traveled with had the same problem. I would stay at Trianon again but not on a warm or hot day.

Located short distance from the city centre. Next to a lovely park. Close to restaurants! Lovely and clean. Looks just like the photos. Staff were very accommodating in dealing with two people arriving at different times and leaving luggage whilst we could travel about on our last day.

I'm a frequent traveler and i've been all over the world, this is not a 3 star its more along the lines of a hostel standard. Ceiling water damaged, carpets stained, bathroom smelt of urine, mattress older than me with stains and full of hair & i even had a bed bug crawling on my leg! After finding bed bugs crawling on me i left the same night i checked in and went to a clean hotel, they refused to refund me. Would not recommend at all, and not in a good location. The photos of the rooms look nothing like the rooms you get, i wonder if its even the same hotel?

Staff was very friendly - however, the room is dated. The rooms have a strong smell of smoke, that they have clearly tried to remove. The air ducts will blow smokey smells out when you turn them on, unfortunately. The bathrooms have been recently updated and are very nice though! My friend stayed in a room next door which looked like it had been recently upgraded with new floors, so maybe they are in the middle of a renovation and I just got a not-as-nice room?
