The hotel was very basic. Small room size, no Aircon. It’s not value for money at these prices. The staff except for a few seemed like interns who were doing this for first time Breakfast was basic and they wind down by 930 which is very odd in a small town like this - the staff was not pleased to wait even 5 minutes on breakfast despite the request Lots of dogs and one guest took food from the breakfast in the hotel plates to feed his dog no one from the hotel noticed and only took action after we pointed it out

A very short stop on our journey down the country. We had everything we needed and the staff were very accommodating. The room was very warm but that was mentioned on arrival and additional fans were offered. The shower was amazing. Although small we didn’t need anything else

Good location and friendly staff. We visited when it was hot and the aircon doesn't work in any of the rooms. Apparently it is due to be replaced later in the year and in the meantime can only be used as a fan. The owners of this hotel need to maintain it properly and not put their staff in the awkward position of dealing with hot guests!

The smell was awful. Eventually at midnight after repeated attempts we were moved to another room but it was hardly a massive effort to accommodate us in a timely fashion. We asked for the manager to contact us to discuss our disappointment but he/ she didn’t make the effort.

Having had a really poor experience of a Holiday Inn in the past, I was anxious about staying here. I have to say that I had a fantastic stay! Firstly, I would like to commend Callum for all his support from helping me book taxi's, offering me a late check out, to giving me water, lemon and ice when I was so poorly. I would also like to say thank you to Reception for holding on to my card and the kitchen staff for preparing vegan sausages when breakfast was almost over. I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn based on the lovely staff who work there, who do everything they can to ensure you have the best stay. There are a few things that the Hotel itself needs to work on, including adding a chain to the door, changing the carpets and changing the doors so they close quietly as they woke me everytime someone entered or left their room. This is something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper. Other than that, I would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again, if I was in Cheltenham.

Situated a short walk from the coach station and the high street. Close to the shops with plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. The breakfast was very good, I did not eat evening meals as I was attending a family party.

Camera pulita, ottima colazione e posizione. Abbiamo viaggiato con due bambini e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Consigliato!
