"Nice Stay "

Typical HIE product. Sleep was good and the service was friendly. Room needed some repairs and probably ready for an update, but it was quiet, comfortable and clean. A bit of a walk to downtown, but also far enough away so the noise doesn't bother you.

Well-run hotel close to Mount Rushmore and the Black Hills. As expected by Holiday Inn Express. Nice breakfast area. We slept well in comfortable beds. Breakfast was quite good. Wi-Fi and other details worked as expected.

"Best in Custer"

Probably the best hotel in Custer. The lobby is lovely, with a huge fireplace, indoor and outdoor seating, and wisely soft music on during breakfast rather than a blaring morning news show. The welcome was fine, but they need more staff at the front desk for busy tourist season. Plentiful, free parking. Beds were fine. Room was a little dated but relatively clean. Breakfast was plentiful and had a lot of variety, although thumbs down on the coffee machines that both cause a line and deliver not-great coffee. Hot tub and pool were smallish but did the job. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again on a future trip to Custer.

Clean and nicely organized and mostly quiet. Great breakfast could've had either some pancakes or waffles would be cool though. Overall great staff and hotel. Thank you.
