Staff was very pleasant and helpful.
To be honest the hotel was nice, the snack bar was stocked, and the room was perfect. The only thing I would have changed was probably an updated bathtub. The room and restroom looked new, but the bathtub looked old.
USRooms were clean and spacious.
I stated to desk clerk the smell in the room was giving me a headache. Response was they were all full and could not move me. I was told a room was coming available the next day and i could probably switch then. When i came back the next afternoon desk clerk said they were full and i could not be moved. I tried to cancel my stay and was still going to be charged for not staying in that room. I called the manager. She accommodated a room transfer.

The place was clean and tidy. Really enjoyed the stay
Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent, they had a variety of items each day. This is helpful especially when you have children and stay more than 1 night. The hotels does need some minor repairs, the pool are needs more night lights, some families can to pool area after long day. Overall staff and hotel were great. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel on our next trip to Houston.
