Crowne Plaza Beijing International Airport by IHG

The facility was very old. The bathroom had a drainage problem but the customer service only wanted to send someone to repair. It was 10 pm already. I had to go to the front desk to beg for another room!

A very basic hotel in China. Nothing impressive. It would have gotten an average rating had the fridge in the room been working, but sadly it wasn't. The light in the fridge comes on when it's opened, but it's not cold. Not even cool to the touch. The shower was disappointing too. One wonders why the shower head holder is mounted at the very corner instead on in the centre of the shower cubicle. When the water is turned on, the holder doesn't grip the shower head, resulting in the shower head being pointed at the glass door, instead of down, towards you.

Hotel was old and the halls need new carpeting room was okay for the age of hotel, but they need to update this hotel! Staff was great !

Staff members are very nice and helpful. They have shuttle to the international airport which is a big plus to me.

Checked into the hotel on the 28th Feb. Lovely hotel. Clean, Rooms are spacious. But unfortunately the staff didn’t do anything noteworthy. The receptionist and the check in staff seem like they are overworked. Not a single smile throughout the stay. My room temperature was set to 25 degrees C and it wasn’t adjustable. When I informed “ Christall “ at the reception about this. She offered to get me an air cooler. 5 mins later she calls me back and says she has none available. A massive hotel with so many towers and rooms. And you don’t have an air cooler? She wanted me to “open the window” or “move to a room where the temperature was 24 degrees” Now it was her who offered the cooler in the first place! After explaining it was impossible to sleep in such a humid room. She didn’t seem to care to want to rectify the situation. She wanted me to speak to her manager. Who couldn’t be bothered coming to the phone despite her asking him/her. She had 3 days which was the duration of my stay to rectify this problem. Did she bother? Nope. Found out that my co workers of a higher grade have been offered an air-cooler instantly when they had the same issue. Found that to be quite Discriminating. And below par in terms of service for a hotel chain such a crown plaza. Everything is great about the hotel it self. But if you expect to actually find staff that will help you. Look elsewhere. Because the staff at the hotel clearly “DONT CARE” one bit about their guest which the staff member “Christal” clearly demonstrated. Visited again in April 23 - The staff is great and helpful however it’s a centralized AC and you cannot adjust the room temperature. Had to sleep in a room that’s 26° Celsius. Everything is great and would definitely have given more starts for the excellent service, however at the end of the day if you can’t have a comfortable sleep at night and you have to stay in a room that’s close to boiling at night it deserves only 1 star. The AC is permanently set to 26° as shown in the picture and cannot be adjusted at all. I do not recommend this hotel for a comfort stay. When informed the staff they sent me a rubbish machine the size of the bed. I suppose they think we sleep under the bed or something as the wind goes underneath the bed. Ridiculous! I am sure they will not reply with their usual lies about how they will check in the air conditioning system as they have done and said in all the other reviews before mine and after mine.

good services, clean room

Not really up to scratch for 1000rmb per night. The rooms are a bit tired and functional. The breakfast packs both breadth and quality. You can do a lot better for the money at a more mid priced hotel like a holiday inn express. The hotel should also consider their application of perfume downstairs. I can detect the smell they are going for, but in the end it seems more like smelling a toilet cake.

Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast

Old hotel that seems not renovated since long time, heating system not working ( room changed), wifi almost impossible to use ( super slow), breakfast so so. Room decently clean and not too noisy. Will choose another hotel next time, this is far from what you expect from a Crowne Plaza hotel

Hotel geographical position is superior, close to the airport, the front desk staff service is good, the room is good too Breakfast is very rich, there are many kinds of optional May be per COVID-19 , very few guests, so when check-in and check-out didn't line up
