"Enchanting"

10.0

The hotel is delightful with original room design and very comfortable beds. The grounds were beautiful as well. The hotel is a 4-5 block walk from the center of town. If you want a special show be at the central plaza at sundown to watch the birds. Thousands fly in to roost in the trees to visit friends and family.

"Eco? Lejos/far"

6.0

Attractive-looking place, but disappoints. Beautifully-groomed grounds, but this doesn't count for eco-standings. Tennis court, pool. But they believe they're 4-star and charge extra for coffee and purified water in the room. Must hike to the overpriced restaurant and pay. Too far from town. Staff didn't call my cab the day we left as I had requested the night before.

"Oasis in paradise."

10.0

Spent so little money on this hotel I was not expecting the amazing oasis that we received! Restaurant in the hotel was great, the pool was perfect, rooms were clean and super beautiful, and the staff were the best! If I come back to Valladolid, I would only stay here.

"very nice"

8.0

a bit farther away from downtown valladolid but still walkable, hotel was very nice and clean - the only thing were the cockroaches at night in the hall ways - but with a towel under our door (to close the space between floor and door) we were able to keep them out of the room... pool towels and safe was for free... very quiet place and would stay there again

"Well appointed hotel not too far from town centre"

10.0

We arrived in Valladollid ADO bus station from Playa del carmen late in the afternoon (7pm). Although the hotel was 10 mins walk away from the centre of town it felt like a very safe neighborhood. If walking is not your thing a taxi is only 20 pesos from the main square. the facilities are nice (excellent shower which is something i regard highly) and comfortable beds. I cannot fault this hotel.

"Good hotel, a little out from the centre"

8.0

Nice place, with much outward appeal. We didn't use it for food so can't comment on that. The WiFi didn't work on my computer in our room. The hotel is a little further out from the centre than we'd have liked - perhaps a 15+ minute walk. Staff in reception were very helpful, though someone might have told us that the clocks went forward an hour on the Sunday we left! We nearly missed our bus, but they were very efficient in getting a taxi to take us to the bus station. The rooms were large and quiet, in spite of the hotel clearly being used by coach tour parties (generally only one per night). Buses and Collectivos go to Chichen Itza and Ek Balam from the centre of town and taxis are inexpensive.

"Two star hotel"

4.0

We had paid for executive room but the people at the reception, who don't understand any English, gave us a basic room. We could have stayed there but the roof above the shower was in mold and contaminated the air in the room. After we complained we got the room we paid for. But it wasn't in anyway different, except there was no mold. The air-condition device did not work well (we were not able to turn it off) and the safety deposit box did not work at all. One more complaint is about the price of the breakfast. It's ridiculous compared to prises in other restaurants in the area. Breakfast costs more than dinner! Only good thing is the garden. It is beautiful and lush. The location is poor because its so far from the beach. And if you just want to visit cenotes and Chichen Iza, you can do much better than this I'm sure.
