Exit 5 Resort & Condominium

We were sorely disappointed when we drove in to stay at Exit 5 Resort & Spa. It's tiny motel units strung out facing Route 1 with all it's 24 hr noise. There were units behind ours facing the pool, but we didn't get that privilege. No one was in the office, had to call a number to get someone to come check us in. The room was the tiniest we'd been in with a back door to the pool area. The air conditioner unit was mounted in the wall and was so loud, it was hard to talk. There was an unmarked remote we found out by trying...for the unit, but it was loud all night long- competing with Rte 1 noise. The bed, one dbl, was extremely uncomfortable- we could feel the springs through the top! I don't know what had been on the handle in the tub wall. It looked gross! The place was fairly clean, several overlooked spots had dust and cobwebs. No, we wouldn't recommend Exit 5 "Resort" . Sorely disappointed in Hotel.com's offer.

The location is good many public areas, shopping around, the facilities are old and not as clean as expected. The floor is slippery

Owner very friendly. Nice location. Cottages could use some upgrades.

Nice curb appeal. Bathroom had no screen on the window, door painted so much it wouldn’t close, ants everywhere (bathroom sick, kitchenette sink and tub)

Owner seemed very nice but hotel was not set up and ready to go for the season. Minny blinds were dirty and broken, heat was not turned on things were not plugged in. The room had a jacuzzi tub. Went to turn on the tub and the water was pouring out of the tub all over the floor from underneath the tub. The owner was understanding and gave me all of my money back. But was disappointed that I had to leave and find another room at 8 o'clock at night because they had nothing else available since they hadn't been fully open for the season.

The place wasn't horrible. Smelled a little funky although it is early in the season and has been closed up all winter. No hair drier or clock in our room. Overall wasn't too bad and price was reasonable

Room was dirty, not a full kitchen as advertised, broken table, broken chair, looked like blood splatter on the ceiling, asked for a frying pan because it was advertised as fully stocked kitchen, we ended up buying our own pans and serving cutlery, floor had our socks completely stuck to the floor and sticky dirty, had to ask for more towels ( there was no housekeeper) we booked for 4 people, we were given three towels. When we asked for towels, the guy at the desk said they were closed for renovation so they didn’t have any, but did end up finding two to lend us. If you leave a dish in the sink it’s a $50 charge. Notes all over cottage saying $350 charge of you leave trash behind. We were afraid to lose our deposit so we basically cleaned the whole thing before we left.The cottage was cute, but definitely did not have any sort of experience that we would ever go back. One small tv in the living room. A love seat was the only living room accommodation, again we booked for four people. No service, still not received our deposit back. It was so dirty, we even had to hand scrub the debris off the toaster. Water leaked from toilet all the way into both bedrooms. None of the top outlet plug ins worked. Thing that really made me mad was they said they were closed for renovations, there was only one other person there in the cottages, why couldn’t they grab a frying pan from another cottage. Just not a good place to go to get away.

The office was closed when I arrived to check in and I had to go find another hotel to stay at the first night and pay more money. Expedia said they had an indoor pool and when I return on for the second night they told me the indoor pool was closed all winter

Medicine cabinet not fastened securely to wall. No way to hang up clothing and coats. The table lamp flickered on and off. The bedspread had a cigarette burn hole. The wifi was not adequate.
