Proximity to the beach

The hotel portion of the property is pretty worn out. They put us on the 3rd floor. The elevator to the 3rd was not working, which was fine, but they had only one sign indicating how to get to the floor and there were several turns to actually find them.

"Bad experience!!"

The worst experience continues... now roaches. The worst experience ever started when Jennifer and Declan refused to give us a wine glass to take to our room. Now roaches... find a new experience... I have been coming here for years and never had this experience of being disrespected... now this!!!

"I expected better for the price we paid."

The beach was nice and the historic architecture of the hotel was very awe inspiring.

It took more than 10 mins for us to be seen by a our waitress at the restaurant. We paid a $70 resort fee for the weekend and it was definitely too much especially after the shoddy service at the restaurant. They need to drop the resort fee. The TV in our room did not work so we reported it to the front desk who said they would report it to maintenance. The TV was still not working when we left after the weekend so it appears it was not that a high priority. Also, the elevator was out of order. I felt bad for the folks who had to lug their bags up the stairs. I guess maintenance did not think that was a high priority either. Why is breakfast not included? Breakfast should be included after the price you pay to stay there.

That it was on the historical registry. That it was on the beach.

We would’ve liked it if you sold distilled water in your gift shop for our c-pap machine so we wouldn’t have had to find a nearby drug store to get it.
