Bellwether House

We loved the central location (20min walk to most touristic places), historic character of the building, lovely stuff and breakfast. Special thanks goes to Matt who went out of his way to get me gluten free breakfast and made me an omelette with vegetables. They also have free gourmet coffee on site throughout the day and free good quality champagne at 6pm and unlimited water. Shower was amazing too with great preasure. 100% recommend

Mattress was a bit soft and you could hear every step of people walking above us from 5am. Suspect kitchen was above our room. But these 2 would not change our recommendation - we loved bellweather house.

5 G cell tower right behind the property, no table in the room and had to go outside to get to the common area.

We couldn’t recommend the Bellwether house more! The staff were top notch! The breakfast was phenomenal each morning. They made coffee drinks anyway and anytime you wanted them. The afternoon tea time was a highlight of the day. The provided snacks were the perfect afternoon pastime. Evening champagne in the courtyard with a fire is a must. The staff knew us by name and made our time in Savannah incredibly memorable. We will absolutely stay here again!

Located in a quiet neighborhood just close enough to downtown and Forsyth Park. I would label this a B&B instead of a hotel. Scarlett provides a delicious and substantial breakfast. Afternoon tea is a nice touch, if missing some of the finer details. The champagne toast is also a fun way to mingle with other guests. Double check with staff as all amenities listed on the website might not be available. Parking is inconvenient (you have to use a pay as you go lot 5 blocks away). The place could use a refresher and some dusting but we will certainly be back next time we visit Savannah!!

Highly recommend staying at the Bellwether House! Location is great- it is on a beautiful street and away from the hustle and bustle yet only a 20 min walk to River Street. Close to Forsyth Park and Jones Street. The room is both upscale and also fits the authentic vibe of the city. The staff and chef are so friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is upscale and delicious; coffee bar drinks are top notch. In the afternoon they have complimentary afternoon tea (tea/coffee, pastries, finger food). In the evening they have complimentary champagne. Everything was amazing!

If you are hesitating about booking the Bellwether, don’t-go for it! My sister and I stayed for two nights on a girls trip, and it truly added to the entire experience of Savannah. We absolutely loved every moment. Matt’s recommendations were spot on!
