Bellwether House

Very pleasant stay at Bellwether House hotel. Clean and comfortable accommodation. The staff was very accommodating especially Scarlett who went beyond the normal service . I would definitely recommend another stay at this fine hotel.

There is no WAY I would give Bellwether House less than 5 stars. The place is exceptional in every possible way! Everything here is amazing...from the rooms to the staff to the food. Your every wish is taken care of, and your comfort is top priority here. We took advantage of the spa and had a couples Swedish massage, and I had a wonderful deep forest hot bath. Both services were simply amazing, and we felt rejuvenated and renewed. The bed are INCREDIBLY comfortable, with plenty of pillows! Bottles of water and club soda are in the mini fridge, and the bathroom...ohhhhh the bathroom...it is phenomenal. Big claw foot tub, large shower, and plenty of room for your toiletries. Plus the hot water is HOT! We stayed in room 13, which is a garden level room, and there are no windows save for two small windows in the door going out to the front of the building. It made for GREAT sleeping if your preference is having a dark room. There are several dehumidifiers in the room to keep it sufficiently dry, but not so dry that it's uncomfortable. The street is quiet, and the fact that this is an adults only b&b makes it feel a bit more upscale. Rooms are very clean and neat, and if you need ANYTHING for your room, the staff is quick to provide it. Kudos to Kobie for quickly handling a problem with our t.v., and to Scarlet for being so hospitable. This place is the epitome of Southern charm and elegance, and we loved the very laid back, easy going vibe. I would HIGHLY recommend the Bellwether to anyone going to Savannah, as this has been a wonderful, relaxing 10 year anniversary vacation!! ❤️

This was our first visit to Savannah and Bellwether House absolutely did not disappoint!! Besides the fact that it was close to the airport, the location is walking distance from almost all the places we visited. But it’s beautifully surrounded by historic homes and gorgeous Forsyth Park! But that just the outside. Inside Bellwether House we had a great room equipped with everything we needed. What topped it off was the hospitality of the staff. Matt, Paul, Scarlett and Bailey were hands down, the best in accommodating us. We loved the breakfast, tea time, record playing in the evenings and the variety of coffees and teas offered with Bellwether’s unique in house made syrups! Even prior to my visit, while I was planning the activities for our group, Matt, Paul and Scarlett were available to answer all my questions and continued to do so throughout our stay. I would highly recommend staying at Bellwether House during your next visit to Savannah!

This was the best experience ever. Let's start with check-in, no glitches or hiccups. We were greeted by Matt and were texted as each room was becoming available and ready, as we had arrived a bit early. We were able to leave our stuff and head out for lunch which was convenient. The bathroom on the main floor was clean and comfortable to use. Each room had its own character and each was comfortable. The outdoor seating was extremely comfortable and the vibe was inviting and serene. First evening we had Paul take care of us and we couldn't have felt more special and taken care of. He tended to every request and made us feel at home in the common living room area. He even packed some happy hour snacks for us to have later in the evening. In the morning we had Bailey and it was the same, with the level of support and service, he started our days off with great coffees and a smile. I cannot forget Scarlett who made the most amazing breakfast spread daily. "Upgraded" Continental breakfast is underselling the spread she put together. All four of these individuals are mainstays at Bellwether. Also, if you have any ADA needs or transportation issues, meaning need assistance with walking and such, they have one room on the main level and they have a complaint lift to take an individual to additional rooms for use- just make sure to ask for this at the time of booking. The rest of the rooms require you to walk up or down stairs. Forsythe Park is around the corner (literally) and so is one of the hop on/hop off bus stops. There were 9 of us on this trip with 9 different personalities and needs and each of us walked away the happiest we could be because of the service provided by the named staff. Thank you to the Bellwether crew. We will be back!!

Overall, I must give this place a stellar rating of 20 out of 10! The staff was exceptional—welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with any needs. Kobe and Paul were particularly outstanding; they were incredibly friendly, easy to converse with, and simply fantastic! I chose the Bellwether based on the rave reviews, and it certainly lived up to the hype! The room was stunningly beautiful and cozy. The bathroom was simply breathtaking, with its captivating emerald green and gold accents that exuded an air of luxurious elegance. The entire house exuded a classic and historic charm, yet it was infused with a touch of opulence that made you feel like a star in a timeless film.

Bellwether is a charming BnB with a great location near Forsyth Park. Perfect for a couples getaway. We enjoyed the breakfast and tea service. And the couples massage was excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in Savannah.

This may have been the best experience of my life. I’m well traveled, I’ve stayed in every type of accommodation you can think of, and this place tops them all. From the moment you pull up you are greeted with warmth and comfort. The attention to detail in the decor, smell & sound does not go unnoticed. The rooms are dreamy with a touch of modern but an ode to the history. The bed may have been the comfiest bed I’ve ever stayed in. The nap I took and the sleep at night may have been the best I’ve had in ages. The toiletries in the bathroom had thought and care in them. Hair straightener? Who does that! Let’s talk about the food!!! Curated each day by the inns very own Scarlette. What an amazing human that is. The tea time spread was delish and the seasonal lattes were to die for. I’m a coffee girl myself but my friend tried the tea and enjoyed them as well. The breakfast spread was unlike any spread I’ve ever seen before. Each carefully thought out and on theme. I cannot wait to return and spend a little more time there. I could move in if they’d let me!
