"I would stay again."

8.0

this Inn is Historic, right in the historic part of the city which makes it very easy to explore by walking all the landmarks. It is cute, has the elegance of old. Great breakfast and wonderful friendly staff.

Given this is a 149 yr old Inn some of the infrastructure needs constant help. Initially we were given a room in the basement. Great room but had a smell of mold. They had air purifiers but I could not get over the smell. Staff was wonderful and moved us upstairs. In the new room there must have been a slow leak of water from the air vents as we found our bathroom waste bucket with some water in it. I could see the air vent being held by tape to the ceiling.

"The Glory and Grandeur of true Southern Hospitality"

10.0

We spend a long and delightful weekend in Savannah staying at the Bellwether House. Scarlett, Bailey, Cobi and Paul served us amazing upscale breakfasts, and plenty of perfect coffee latte's when ever we wanted them. Breakfast was as much a treat to the eyes as it was to the taste. Fabulous! The ambiance at the Bellwether takes you back to generations past, all with modern day amenities. We could have stayed down by the river, but loved our choice to be in a quieter neighborhood, nestled among many historic homes and a short walk to Forsyth park. The river and city market is more active and loud and we just loved sitting on the front porch in quite conversation and solitude. Make sure you get a nice decaf coffee or a drink from the bar to enjoy your leisure southern porch time. We'd recommend going in October or late spring when it's not so hot. We timed it perfectly. We'd recommend staying in room 1 or 0. Room 1 shares a covered upper porch where we found it fun meeting and visiting with guests and hearing their stories. Room 0 is more private and has a private porch. Regardless you can't go wrong with any room at the Bellwether. The staff will treat you with the utmost care and we cannot recommend it more highly.

"Charming, Elegant, and Always Our First Choice in Savannah"

10.0

We have stayed at the Bellwether House on our last two visits to Savannah, and it has quickly become our go-to destination whenever we’re in town. This historic inn offers the perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort. The property is beautifully restored and maintained, full of character, yet thoughtfully updated. The staff is exceptional, always friendly, attentive, and truly committed to making you feel welcomed. A few helpful notes: The Bellwether is a two-person maximum per room, and guest must be 18 or older to stay, which makes makes for a quiet, adult-friendly atmosphere. They also provide a complimentary breakfast (delicious and beautifully presented) and champagne each evening. They have their own private parking lot just a block away, which is convenient and safe. I can’t recommend the Bellwether House enough. We will be booking again on our next trip to Savannah, GA.

"Savannah relaxation visit"

Bellwether is a quaint little inn in the historic district. We really loved it but would choose a ground level room in the future (ours was a basement room). There are no windows where we stayed

"Stepping Back In Time"

10.0

This was our first stay in Savannah and wanted to be near the park and away from River Street. Located on quiet tree lined street, you are a couple of blocks from Forsythe Park and an easy 20 minute walk to the downtown waterfront. The house itself is like stepping back in time. There is a comfortable parlor, small dining room for breakfast and afternoon tea, a cute bar that is stocked with complimentary sodas, lemonde, coffee and tea. Breakfast is delicious as is the tea service. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening. The staff was exceptional. We were fortunate to reserve a room as the Bellwether books out well in advance. Our room was probably the help's quarters as it was in the basement and the only window was in the door. BUT! it was delightful and cozy with a comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom with great shower and a claw foot tub. After a day of being tourists, it was a relaxing space to regroup before going to dinner. Highly recommend!! PS- A few blocks down on Drayton, at the new renovated Hotel Bardo ,is the Saint Bibiana Restaurant- beautiful space and amazing food!
