Bellwether House was truly the perfect stay - we could not recommend it enough. The perfect location, the room was incredible, and the hosts were even better. We are so excited to come back

This is a charming, well appointed Inn with an attentive staff, lovely amenities, in an authentic historic Savannah setting. Breakfast and high tea were included plus a glass of champagne at 6pm. The food and hospitality were first rate.

We booked an Elevated King Suite but were given a standard “deluxe” king room instead, which was disappointing. The only window was in an awkward back corner of the front room, leaving the room darker and less inviting. The large windows that open to the patio was the only reason we paid a little extra for the elevated king! On top of that, the bathroom faucet was broken, my husband had to turn the water off and on at the valve every time we used the sink, otherwise it would just constantly run. The beds were comfortable, but the property seemed understaffed, with only one person working at a time doing everything from bartending to check in. We almost canceled our second night but decided to stay because of how kind and helpful Bailey was. He gave us excellent recommendations, we went to every place he suggested and even got a tattoo at one of the places he suggested! He also tried to contact the manager on our behalf about our room, but we still haven’t heard anything back. Breakfast was underwhelming but that was on us for showing up so late, but the vanilla latte was absolutely amazing. Overall, the staff and location was the highlight of our stay, but the room downgrade, broken faucet, and lack of management response left us disappointed for the price we paid.

This was our second time staying at Bellwether (we also stayed this time last year). It has gone through several management changes since it opened as the Bellwether House, which was very noticeable during our recent stay. The house itself is stunning with a nice balance between historical integrity and modern aesthetics. We continue to love the accommodations and location, but the amenities leave something to be desired. Bellwether no longer offers a full breakfast, which is disappointing for a bed and breakfast. We were also belatedly charged a $35/day amenity fee, which was not disclosed up front or included in our original room bill. I’m guessing it’s a new fee management imposed after we originally booked. Staff were pleasant but overall the service lacked hospitality. Unfortunately we won’t be back.

Our stay was wonderful. The staff was so kind and accommodating. Our room was spectacular and very comfortable. From the moment we arrived we were taken such good care of. Breakfast was delicious also!! We will definitely be back when in the area.

Everything at the bellwether was beautiful, romantic, upscale, and a delight! Tucked down a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of town, the bellwether is still walking distance from everything without the noise of the crowds. The staff were kind, accommodating, and wonderful! We had a couples massage and a bath and can’t speak highly enough of the therapists that come in to do the work. HIGHLY recommend the Bellwether and we can’t wait to return!
