We like everything about our stay except the fact the a/c in room 5 was inadequate. We couldn't get the temperature below 76* . And sleep was uncomfortable

One of the best hotel experiences we have had. The property is relaxing, old whole charm, with tasteful modernist convenience. The staff is welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Scarlet and Bailey were delightful and attentive. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are modern and very nicely appointed. Highly recommended the Bellwether House for true southern hospitality.

This was a very cute bed and breakfast built in the 1800s. The staff were very kind and intentional with their service. My first interaction upon arrival was with Scarlett and she was such a gem. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. The only concern I had was that I booked roughly 10 days prior to my arrival. I received a generic text offering add ons for spa services and wine packages which I was excited to add since I was celebrating my birthday. I checked out the options on the website and sent a text back stating the services I wanted and asked questions about the wine selection. I did not receive any response. I tried calling about 3/4 times. No answer. I sent a message through the website and got a generic response saying someone will contact me. Nothing. When you call, the voice message does not mention the name of the establishment so I was worried that I got scammed. I suggest updating the vm so people know who they’re calling. Once I arrived Scarlett made me feel comfortable.

This isn’t just a place to stay, it’s truly a whole experience and we are so glad we chose it. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and the extra effort makes a HUGE difference. We will most definitely be back again.
