Meriwether Country Inn

It is in a centralized location to most of the places I visited. The only sad thing is that everything in town closes around 5-6pm. I did find a tasty restaurant about 3-4 miles from their location called the Butcher Block Cafe - GREAT catfish, so good I ate there twice!! As a single traveler I felt safe at the hotel - that is very important to me.

The smell of marijuana coming into my room in the middle of the night. Someone was smoking outside and it came in thru the air unit intake.

I believe this was our third stay at the Meriwether Country Inn, and we have had nothing but great experiences. My wife and I tend to stay there when visiting nearby family, and it is truly a great hotel all around. The room we had was clean, and newly renovated, comfortable bed, mini fridge and microwave, new tv, all the creature comforts we could ask for at an incredibly affordable price. For any visitors to the area, Warm Springs is a beautiful, quaint Southern town, and the Meriwether is right in the heart of it. Great dining and shops all around, it is just a great getaway for those looking for Southern hospitality and a real country experience. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Room was very clean. Had a frig and small microwave which was great. The coffee maker sucked. It was small and didn’t do a good job. The bed are firm so if you like a firm bed you will like it. The only downside is side is the reservation was for three people and they only put two towels so we had to ask for more. Over all it was a nice place. Walking distance to town and restaurant.

Good place to stay on a road trip.

At first glance the room was much nicer than I expected . Dirty bed sheets. Organic growth on bottom of shower curtain. Floors need to be swept better. Other than that it was a pretty good stay. There is no keurig in the room but there is a small coffee pot. Mini fridge and microwave. Nice lvp flooring and granite counter tops. No odd smells.
