Ocean Mist Hotel

Great location, beautiful beach with unfettered access, hot tub, indoor pool, very nice loft and fresh fluffy towels. My partner and I wanted a seaside weekend and were very happy to be at the Ocean Mist this weekend! However, there were many flaws and shortcomings too. The room had poor air-conditioning and the thermostat did not deliver. Despite a kitchenette, there were no items of flatware and not even a bottle of dishwashing liquid. Coffee and tea selections were very limited and no breakfast option either. There was a sewer like smell upon exiting the building and several requests were made before beds were made and fresh towels brought in. For the amount charged nightly, the service and amenities need a huge improvement.

Nice room and community room. Indoor Poo al bit far away, so we did not use it. Close to the beach. Free coffee and soda in family room.

Being told when we arrived that there was an added resort fee. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Mildew in corners.

We stayed in the two queen bed with loft suite, ocean front. The room was very spacious (we could have put up two air mattresses, if we needed to). Besides the two balconies, there were two big windows in the corners, which was great too. The view was beautiful. The beach is small but and did have seaweed, but that didn't stop us from enjoying it. My girls (18 and 19) didn't swim because of the seaweed, but there were folks in the water. We did not use the pool or fire pits, but they looked nice and inviting. The place is about 10-15 minutes from Hyannis, 40 from Chatham, 25 from Harwich Port, and 1 hour 15 from Provincetown. We enjoyed The Skipper restaurant (we went twice) which is a short walk down the street and went to Andrea's West Yarmouth Fish Market for lobster rolls, which were much cheaper than Skippers (and almost as good). Brax Landing in Harwich Port was really nice too, with a view of the marina. Overall I enjoyed Ocean Mist and would recommend staying there if you want to be right on the beach.

The location is incredible! Love the beach lounge chairs that were provided by the resort. There were always plenty to use everyday, I was surprised they weren't all claimed in the early mornings! The pool and hot tub were well maintained and had a slight ocean view. The room was clean and comfortable. The small kitchen in the queen room was unexpected and so useful. It had a small fridge, sink, and some cabinets with a full size garbage. Booking my next trip here now!!

It was nice being able to go from our hotel door to the beach. Rooms were clean/tidy. Great views.

Amazing hotel! You cannot beat the location. It is a peaceful spot and the rooms are huge. Great for families. Pool is located centrally so you can see the beach. Staff was helpful and friendly. Parking was easy.

Beautiful location on the water had a pool

Our room on the first floor had extremely noisy people above us I had to call it 11p. about the noise finally they stopped the banging around and loud noise when asked if they compensate me or give me credit for a future visit they said no

Was in ground floor - and whenever people upstairs moved you could hear - and the group above were partying young men who woke us at 3am every night! Sounded like elephants!
