"Good hotel near airport"

10.0

Nice hotel near airport. Has park and fly. Flat parking rate for park and fly of $40.00 for maximum 14 days. Has free shuttle to airport. Also next door to Johnnys Steakhouse. Have stated here several times. Front desk staff always very nice. No problems.

It was quiet considering how close it is to the airport. I found the room exceptionally clean.

I really can't think of anything I didn't like. Maybe a couple more waste baskets? Or better water pressure in the shower?

"Disappointed in Des Moines"

Stayed one night in the middle of the week in May of 2024. Check in was smooth, the girl working the front desk was very friendly. The room itself was ok, nothing great. It was pretty warm in the room when we arrived (maybe 75) so we turned down the thermostat like we always do. The room never got cold. That made our sleep miserable. Also, the curtains would not close either. I told the lady at checkout about the temperature issue and she said it was because of no movement in the room the temperature would not change. We stayed in 6 different hotels on our trip and this was the first one like that. Also, we had an issue with the pool. We went down to the pool and their were some grandparents sitting around watching kids playing in the hot tub. They got out when we arrived and got in the regular pool which was filled with pool toys. They were diving (not allowed). When we got into the pool one of the kids almost drowned.

First and foremost the all the staff we encountered were super awesome and friendly. Especially the young girl who worked the front desk when we checked in. I have 0 complaints about the hotel. Breakfast was good. Pool area was nice and clean. Room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. I would definitely recommend to others!
