Plim Plaza Hotel

The only good thing about this property is its location. I did have a pleasant experience with the front staff desk as well.

The rooms were so old and run down, after getting to ours I decided I could not stay there for 5 nights and be comfortable. Old furnishings that were beat up, old fraying bedding and dirty carpet, mini fridge was shoved in a hot closet, bathroom had a stained tub and toilet, pedestal sink with nowhere to sit anything. The grout in the bathroom was filthy. Shower curtain looked like a cat clawed its way up it and was dingy yellow from stains. The wallpaper was literally bubbling up from water damage, lamp shades crooked, pictures crooked.. it looked like a scary movie. The room vibrated from the music at the pool and the halls stunk like skunk weed. The whole feel of the hotel felt grimy. Maybe good for young kids wanting somewhere “cheap” to stay and somewhere to party on the boardwalk. I’m all for having a good time but the vibe of this hotel was just not good. The whole building seemed overall run down and not kept up with. I did get a full refund considering we didn’t stay and the front desk guy was very pleasant and understanding.

Ideal location. Free parking. For a 150 year old building it was okay place to stay. Great pool.and love the rocking chairs.

Take out spa bathtub and put in walking shower. Bathroom extremely small with that big tub.

The pool/bar is the best thing about this place. Our room was small for 3 people but we only slept there. We like the location and convenience to the beach. All the employees seemed nice.

Windows needed cleaned. I know its a beach hotel but they are bad. Just upgrading, carpet, bedding, but again, we just slept there. The parking is a bit tricky! Took forever to get hot water and then the shower head was slowwwww, my garden hose puts out more water!
