Best Western Plus Pastures Hotel

Stayed here a few times. Lovely hotel with fab restaurant. Price wise very reasonable & rooms perfect for a short break/overnight stay. Lots to do locally & great walks from the door if you want to venture on foot.

I booked the Fitzwilliam Suite. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness were unrivalled. I had the best bath I'd had in a long time and the bed was so comfy I wish I'd stayed longer. 10/10 Stay

Only drawback was that the electric key / card was not explained to us at check in? Lovely canal side walk just behind the hotel.

Really nice, warm friendly hotel, reception area, restaurant and rooms really nice, nice friendly staff as well, of course, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good . Free parking, Free WIFI, Would have liked the bar to stay open a little longer as we had a toddler with us, however there is a pub on the grounds, offering food and entertainment. Due to limited time we did not get to the pub or taste their Sunday Roast, hopefully next time, we would love to stay again a little longer. We would rate it as one of the best hotels we have stayed at

One night stop for business, very comfortable bed and a hearty breakfast very helpful staff

Most staff OK, evening meal OK, breakfast OK, the bed wasn't level and my feet were higher than my head, very uncomfortable night. Was going to complain but the receptionist had a phone stuck to her ear and just took the key card not saying a word to me on leaving. I'm not one to usually complain and was in a hurry to wait for the receptionist to finish her conversation on the phone.

Pretty location by the water. Easy to walk by the river to town or lock. Beds a bit too firm. But a lovely over night stop on the way to Scotland.

Room so hot had to check out 0600 Enjoyed pub opposite and nice meals in hotel for quieter time
