Hotel Park Villa

Nice and close to Chapultepec Park and it's many attractions. Easy to get a cab or Uber if you don;t want to walk. Felt safe and clean in the area. Staff was helpful and friendly, but GUEST'S should know a little Spanish to help in communication.

This is an older style hotel which is reflected in it rooms.so don't expect bright new modern fittings. Our room was quite dark, the carpet was worn, the bathroom & toilet small but functional and there was only one socket, which in this electronic age is a little tricky. We did view other rooms and they were larger and had more Sockets. Being on the upper floor gives the opportunity to leave your door open to let in light. Unfortunately we found the bed was so hard my partner, who has back problems was unable to tolerate it and we had to relocate hotels. However, the staff were wonderful and so accomadating in trying to resolve the situation. We can't express our gratitude enough to Fabiola who dealt with the situation for us. We were sorry to have to leave, as the hotel has a beautiful garden and is in a quiet location ( very unusual for M city) but walkable to restaurants, the park and other areas. The restaurant was very good, the staff really nice. Don't let our situation put you off. If you are looking for a more traditional place to stay without all the modern stuff and don't have bad backs this is a really nice environment to relax in.

The beautiful outdoors restaurant

No había enchufes de tres para computadoras y tuve que pedir adaptador. Los cuartos aunque limpios me parecieron con oportunidad de renovarse.

I was looking forward to this day because of all the great reviews. But I was disappointed The room smelled stale and was dirty The bed was old and uncomfortable. On the plus side the restaurant is good and everything is homemade.

Lovely room. Very comfortable

- Spacious room - Very nice restaurant - Awesome staff; also helped to organize tours (pick-up at hotel possible) - Great location next to the Chapultepec park; a lot of places and restaurants can be reached within 30 minutes of walking distance - Walking in the night felt safe since there were people around nearly everywhere

- The room and especially the bathroom were pretty outdated - The room was very dark; the bulbs were very weak - Hardest mattress I ever had - The included breakfast was a bit disappointing: 2 slices of toast, butter, jam, fruit, coffee, or tea. But they prepared a plate of freshly cut fruit for us every day. If you want anything extra like an egg, you can only order a complete egg dish from the menu for more than 10 USD.

The location is great

However the room we had was very dated, the walls were so thin, so we could hear everything that was happening in the street and we were woken every time the person at reception arrived at 7am and proceeded to chat for 30 minutes. There is very little light in the room, the shower temperature will randomly go very hot to very cold and then back again

Nothing much to say except it was great. Some more outlets in the room would have been nice
