It was a good experience and location as it was close to beach
Wir verbrachten 15 Tage im September mit HP im Themis Beach. Positiv war das nette Restaurant Personal und auch das Abendbuffet war sehr lecker. Insgesamt aber könnte das Buffet reichhaltiger und abwechslungsreicher sein. Auch könnten die Speisen häufiger aufgefüllt werden. Leider hatten wir Schimmel auf dem Zimmer neben der Klimaanlage. Dieser wurde nach Beanstandung an der Rezeption notdürftig über gestrichen. Ein Zimmer ohne Schimmel konnte man uns alternativ nur zum Parkplatz hin und unrenoviert anbieten. Die Musik am Pool war häufig zu laut. Selbst als sich Leute bei der Animation beschwerten wurde die Musik nur lachend lauter gedreht. Also generell haben wir nichts gegen Musik am Pool, aber wenn man sich beim unterhalten anbrüllen muss und keine Party stattfindet muss es ja nicht so extrem laut sein. Für die Liegen am Strand wurde eine Gebühr von 5 Euro pro Tag fällig. Und das bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel mit dem Namen Themis Beach am hoteleigenen Strand? Naja dafür waren Strand und Wasser herlich. Insgesamt waren sehr viele Italiener, Russen, Bulgaren und Polen im Hotel. Deutsche sind klar in der Minderheit. Auch sollte man Katzen mögen. Die Streuner kommen regelmäßig zum Essen auf die Terrasse. Wir fanden die Tiere sehr angenehm und fanden besonders die Kleinen total putzig. Zu guter Letzt sollte man die Nähe zum Flughafen berücksichtigen. Transfer mit dem Taxi liegt nur bei 20 Euro, dafür landen die Jets direkt über dem Strand.
Balcony overlooking both the pool and the sea. A two minute walk to a sandy beach. Very well cooked food and extremely professional and attentive staff. A great place for a get away.
It is worth to be called 3 star hotel for its services and condition. It could improve in food operations. But it has some great features like nice sandy beach and transportation time from Heraklion airport. Overall, well worth the money.

The hotel was great. Its a bit old but very well kept. The staff was friendly, helpful, English skills were great. Our view was nothing short of Fantastic! We only included breakfast with out stay. Food was plentiful with a huge assortment of choices. Food was good, would not say great but certainly good. We also liked that it was close enough to Heraklion that going in to the big town was not inconvenient. Lots of these resorts can be a fair bit of a haul from the bigger towns. This one was close enough but not too close
we stayed one night. it is 15 min from the airport.close to the beach and with nice pool. the hotel is old and the rooms are small and clean. we had dinner that had OK buffet and drinks was for charge. the WiFi is slow and only in the lobby. elevators are small and not for baby strollers. you should pay for the pool towels and for the chars in the beach.
I upgraded room which was worth it. Not the prettiest part of Crete. Sea beautiful
Close to the beach with a lovely pool facility and buffet selection, Themis Beach Hotel was a lovely stay and experience for our holiday. We wanted a relax-by-the-pool, all-inclusive style holiday and this worked very well for that. The wifi was quite bad, which was annoying at times, however the rest of our stay was very enjoyable. Very much a family hotel / resort, not many young people.
The sea view room was really nice and comfortable. Housekeeping was good too. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Private beach is clean and nice but you need to pay 5 euros for sunbathing bed every single day. The Hotel only 10 min drive from the airport. The only let down was WIFI. It's workable only in the lobby not in rooms and it's too slow. Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
