The grounds of this property are stunning and the public spaces throughout the resort are spacious and comfortable.The rooms are dated and basic but clean. Breakfast buffet is included and is more than adequate. Because the room rates are so affordable you really do get good value for your money. Sure the rooms are basic but the views are magnificent and you're going to be spending more time outdoors anyway. For a budget room in a fabulous location, you can't beat it. Also, it is walking distance to restaurants, stops, and a super market.
I stayed here one night. It was one of the nicest hotels I stayed in wile in Greece. The staff was very helpful, giving me ideas on what to do on the Island for the day. The room was nice and clean. I would recommend the hotel and would stay there again
The room was less then half the size advertised and guests weren't allowed to come up to the rooms.
Terrible and unhelpful staff! Te room we got had no AC and the receptionist would not give us another room unless we pay an extra 50€ a night! (Air conditioning was obviously included in the room rate). The next day we went spike to another receptionist and after a while back and forth for a few hours (!!) she gave us another room which officially had AC but it was just a bit of warm air coming out... We weren't interested to waste our vacations fighting with hotel staff so we just gave up...
Ok location, no toilet water upon our checkin, need to make use of a bucket to flush it which was ridiculous! Tried to get one bath towel changed by placing on the floor but was found being folded back on the desk without a replacement. Dripping water from the aircon during my whole stay without getting fixed! Safety box looks extremely out of date and didn't look "safe" to us at all! Overnight staff was being friendly and helpful but not knowledgeable enough on the tourist information whereas the day-time staff were knowledgeable but not being friendly nor helpful.
Lack of choice in all inc the lager was worst I've ever tasted and I have tasted some bad ones. Food poor and no snack bar snacks. Entertainment was abissmal.
A fantastic hotel, great pool, beach, good food and very clean and comfortable, very good quality overall and the Manager was excellent and made us feel very welcome, staff were good but spoke little English. The downside; it would appear that most if not all the other guests were Greek, which is fine, but they did not like us being there, as if it should be no foreigners there, and they showed it in their looks and behavior showing little or no courtesy.
On arrival first impression was very good as the hotel and apartments are nestled away as the web site showed. Close to the sea with private beach and large pool. As we relaxed on the narrow balcony after our flight from Athens to our disappointment our visual view of both the pool and sea was obstructed from open view by the balcony wall and hand rails. As we sat in the 2 chairs our eye level was the same as the railings..........To enjoy what was indeed a very good panoramic view one had to stand up. Then accepting perhaps being a little critical directly above the roar of a plane approaching Crete Airport........nothing had been indicated on your web site nor in write ups? The hotel situated some 15 kilometres from the main Crete airport was sited directly underneath the incoming flight path and with August being high season this meant planes arriving at between 20 to 30 minutes intervals. All day long from very early morning through into the early hours of the following morning. Ad to this the thumping beat amplifiers blasted out from the beach bar through into the early hours one can say...... staying in the Hotel is a No! no! Booking into the hotel we expected to have what hotels normally give.......peace and quiet within the room and not the promotion of flights from Italy,France, Germany, Portugal, UK and main land Greece........and more besides! Air conditioning?......wow! what a relic and stink!! the horrible smell being the A/C unit
It is a great place- staff are very friendly - great all inclusive option! Huge clean pool - right on the beach all markets car rental groceries very close
