"Unauthorized Fees Now Totaling More Than Our 1-Night Fee Should Have Been"

My wife wrote the last review about the two unauthorized charges. I wanted to update: IT GETS EVEN WORSE. Today 02/24/25, we have a charge of $238.88 & 2 additional charges for $97.42 & $100.00. That’s $436.30 for a 1 night stay (without a pet) that was supposed to only be $138.33. Their “IHG Guest Relations” has been no help. They ended up admitting that they’re just a mediator and everything we have reported will be “documented” and sent to the hotel management. The same management that this happened under. We’re just supposed to wait, as we continue to get charged more and more money, for the hotel management to somehow fix this and make it right. I went from being a proud IHG Member for the last 7 years to never wanting to stay at one of their hotels again. We’ve cancelled all our future stays and encourage you to rethink your stay. This is bigger than the Holiday Inn in Grandbury. It’s the entire corporate office’s failure to step in and assist in a situation that warrants it. There is no customer service. This is a nightmare and every day it gets worse.

We’ve been IHG Members since 2018. We stayed 1 night at this hotel. After checkout, we were charged a pet fee. We didn’t have a pet in the room. They said it would be fixed, but instead we were charged another unauthorized fee. Do not stay here!!

Convenient to town

Very loud road noise as windows are very thin and not enough noise barriers in place. Could hear cars racing on 377 all night. Heating unit would not cycle on and off. Bed was so high I could not get in until staff brought me a stool No bath bat in tub making it very slick and slippery Needs more lighting in bathroom to do makeup for women Customers need to be reminded not to SLAM their doors when people are sleeping.

The staff was very friendly, our room was spacious, but most importantly (for us) the pool was clean and nicely heated. The breakfast was pretty good as well.
