I never write negative reviews. But here goes - the beds were terrible - like a sheet on a piece of plywoood. The pillows were dreadful - could not get comfortable. The air whatever didn't seem to work - it was stuffy. The bathroom was so tiny - I am a small person - the toilet was right in front of the door - and the tub/shower was just a few inches from that. The soap dispensers - over the sink and in the shower - were so high on the wall that I could barely reach them - I am 5'3" - it was a slippery slope in the shower. And - in the room there was a tiny table with two hard chairs facing the two queen sized beds - but nothing comfy to sit on at all. In the morning, I thought there would be something satisfying for the complimentary breakfast - but there were just a few sweet muffin/roll options in the nearly empty case - hard boiled eggs and yogurt. I asked if there were other muffin ( not so sugary) options and the guy at the desk was very cheery and said yes, but they were cold (frozen?)but he could warm them up. There was no fruit - it seems as though bananas and oranges would be easy to have. No toaster or anything to put in one. Well - nothing warm at all. And - for seating - one couch and one love seat. With a coffee table between. Anyway - I am usually not a fussy person - really. But the very high price of being there - we had three rooms for family - does not match the experience. The young man at the desk in the morning was cheery, as I said. The lady when we checked in the night before was cheery as well, and she searched for caffeine free tea bag options, but could not find any.

It was nothing special. Don’t know what we got for the resort fee. Breakfast was store bought pastries and coffee in the lobby. The hot tub jets were not powerful and the sauna took forever to heat up. Receptionist was not very friendly. Won’t be back.

Hotel is ok. It’s sort of clean, definitely needs updating, and most importantly it has the most uncomfortable bed a hotel has ever seen. The hotel would be better if they removed the mattresses and provided sleeping bags instead. That’s how awful the beds are.

I was traveling to Bemidji, and when searching for Bemidji lodging I ranked by high to low star by rating. This place was the only 4 star location so I booked it. When I put this place into Waze I come to find out its NOT in Bemidji its 40 minutes away! So bad on you Expedia. This was a minor inconvenience, as it was on the way. But…this is not a four star property. Its run down, the carpet in the room was filthy. It didnt smell like 1985 Holiday Inn but it was close.Im sure in 1922 this place was great. Its summer on a lake and the restaurant is closed on a Sunday? The breakfast was “grab and go” and was awful. The town is one street basically and we ate at the local Subway. The pool was OK. I would not stay here again.
