Super 8 by Wyndham Walterboro

Suppose to open for breakfast at 6am. Got up early and ready to go and did not open until 6:20am. One type of cereal with sugar. Micro wave did not work. Toilet seat was unsafe. Unusual smell in room that after several hours of leaving the front door opened somewhat cleared. Extremely noisy. Will not be back again.

Room was not serviced No fresh towels or coffee. Beds were not made Very noisy

Unfortunately this is NOT a good place to stay for a family. The door was not sealed, nor closing properly, every person walking by woke us up, there was yelling and screaming past midnight which could be heard because of how poorly the seal was on our door. We could smell people smoking all kinds of things outside of our door. We are no fuddy duddies, but we don't want to smell it while we are trying to sleep. We left in the early am hours because there was truly no sleeping there. By far the worst place I've stayed.

Everything was good. Good service. Cleanliness. Will stay there again if coming through Walterboro.

Thought the price was high for a Super 8 but it included breakfast. Arrived at breakfast to find non working juice machines, empty cereal canisters, waffle machine but no batter. We asked the clerk and she pointed to a mini fridge with juice boxes and yogurt. Pastries in cellophane were stale. We found a Burger King

Upon checking in . We discovered the smoke alarm was dislocated from the wall . We reported to staff . Nothing was done to fix it . The king size bed only had 2 small pillows on it . I asked for a couple more . And was told they did not have any more . The mini fridge did not work !

Clean. Good location. no towels provided

Checkin was a nightmare. Had to return to window (not lobby) 2x and argue with clerk that my key card did not work. Had to request room change to keep the young men partying in the parking lot out of my young son's view. Shower makes shrill noise when in use, only 2 towels in room. Curtain is falling off rail on one side. Needed to lean bag against window keep curtain shut. Bedspread has some fresh, gelatinous stain on it. Paid over $100 for this barely tolerabe experience. Only worth about half that!
