"Despite a few negatives, the good outweighed the bad & it was a very nice vacation."

Memorable: beautiful architecture & art pieces everywhere in hotel; swimming pool; spa service (excellent massage); accommodating friendly staff; good food in restaurant; accepting of pesos or US dollars; knowledgeable bar staff; many English speaking staff; pump bottle liquid bath amenities (no excessive plastic); small standing balcony outside room; quiet church bell time at night.

Didn't care for: loud children running & screaming in courtyard outside of our room at night; carnival music & very loud noise from nearby park (until 11pm); fabric ottoman bench seat very stained (had to cover with towel); fabric headboard discolored from many heads leaning against; a regular chair for shoe removal (yes, I'm old); the use of plastic water bottles.

Very nice property. Our experience at check in was terrible after three moves. Dirty toilet, sheets, bugs, and so on. Third room was finally clean. Staff was ok
