Dolphin Beach Resort

Love that it was on the beach. Beautiful views and great food. The room was very nice and clean. I just disagree with the house keeping not vacuuming the room daily. We experienced a little rudeness at the outside bar but other than that I would definitely recommend. We will be back next year to check out what changes have been with the renovations coming.

We stayed here many years ago. Had not been back but took the chance for a short, overnight stay.It was perfect for a relaxing couple of days at the beach. We enjoyed the free complimentary drink, ordered from the restaurant and the beach cabana kept us shaded when we were not enjoying the perfect gulf water!! This was our second stay here. Will stay again!

Pros: Location, location, location. Friendly front desk staff. Cons: double beds (not queen), little to no cleaning services - we stayed for seven days and the room was only cleaned once… on the sixth day. Constantly had to request more toilet paper and towels. Towels for beach/pool never seemed to be available after 7 pm. Most all the wall outlets in the room were unable to hold a plug in… constantly falling. That’s a big problem for folks who sleep with a CPAP machine, not to mention making sure electronics stay charged. Washers and dryers are available for $3 per use. Unfortunately, machines ONLY take quarters and there are no coin machines. On our first use, we were able to get some quarters from the front desk. However, the next time we approached the front desk for this, the clerk said he didn’t have any and suggested we go across the street to Publix.

Dirty rooms, sneaky slow drain in bathroom, cockroaches in our room two nights out of six… great staff, great beach, fun activities, close to everything and affordable

Perfect location. Price was a little high for the condition of the building. Wish the pool was open later.
