Crystal Peak Lodge, A Vail Resorts Property

Stayed for one night. This is a very nice resort right at the base of Peak 7. Super easy ski on ski out.

Do not hesitate to stay at the Crystal Peak Lodge, we travelled from the U.K. and were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We had a 2 bed apartment which was spacious and well fitted out. The addition of a full kitchen with utensils was great. The location is perfect and is truly ski in ski out. Check in was a breeze and the restaurant right next door was great for breakfast and snacks. The hotel is well connected in terms of ski lifts and has easy access into town with a free Uber style shuttle. We would highly recommend!

Location is great especially if you have skied before. wouldn’t recommend for “first-timers” as slopes are mostly blue/black. You can take a gondola down to the resort below Crystal Peak and catch some gentle slopes from the lift there. The four bedroom was nice. bedrooms/bath were comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked and an absolutely beautiful views of slopes and mountain peaks. The kids room with bunks was a little small.

Typical of all Vail Resort properties. Massive facility with zero staff. Literally no one at the front desk, just a sign directing you to another resort to check in. Staff there was nice, but also limited.

Cleanest most accommodating lodge ever! So many amazing things about this place- for starters, it had to be the cleanest property we have ever stayed at. You literally couldn’t find a spec of dust if you tried. The 2 bedroom unit we booked turned out to be 3 bedrooms (3rd bedroom just didn’t have closet or bathroom, but had 2 additional twin beds), it had every kitchen appliance, gadget, tool one could ever want. Our fridge looked like it had never been used. We had a steam shower in the master which was to die for! On site restaurant was amazing. It’s called Sevens and our bartender was a doll! Everything we ordered was too notch as was the view. Tons of family amenities like game room/arcade, outdoor chess and yard games! Def stay here! You won’t want to leave

We where not told that the hotel was virtually close. The door to the room opened with the key but there was no staff. We where barely able to find towels. Restaurants were closed no wait staff no receptionist it was like a Ghosttown. Room was never cleaned for 5 days.

An amazing location and truly ski-in, ski-out access to Breck - and the gondola here offers a great way to avoid the long lines elsewhere in the resort. The condos themselves are very comfortable and spacious with all the amenities you need, perfect for groups! The resort had great parking & the outdoor jacuzzis were to die for - perfect for relaxing with amazing views of the mountains, highly recommend a morning or apres-ski relaxation time there! The only slight challenge with our stay was the split between this resort and the one down the road - that is where all check-in / check-out and food, etc. is managed from. And it's not a walk, it's definitely a drive down the mountain. Makes things a bit logistically challenging but if you go in "eyes open" you can plan around it, just worth noting. Overall, would stay again given the location alone!

surprised to find "no one" at a desk to welcome us upon arrival so we needed to explore around to find the place nearby to do that

Loved the property- did not like parking one car miles away bc of one car rule.
