Crystal Peak Lodge, A Vail Resorts Property

There are no staff members on property. Zero. I’m sure it’s because of staffing issues, but still. No one told us. We drove up to a locked hotel with a sign in the window telling us to check in at a different hotel. I asked about housekeeping and they said someone would bring towels and change the trash once a day. Nope. Never happened. Every external door to the hotel was locked. At one point our keys deactivated and we got to stand out in the cold until someone drove over to let us in. I paid $1200/night.

Great stay. Condo was fantastic. Views were outstanding!

the access to the gondola is an amazing extra. no need to drive after arrival. gondola and bus service was free and really convenient.

Excellent set up. Had everything you would need.

The room was beautiful and very well maintained. We were not aware that the amenities (pool, bowling alley) were in the other building. Also perhaps because it was off season the front deck was closed when we arrived and we had to wait for someone from One Ski Hill to come and check us in. I loved the gondola access and view, and the room was nicer than any of the other resorts I’ve seen so far.

Liked all aspects. WAs not unhappy with any aspic of the property or the condo I stayed in.

Location next to gondola. Condos with full equipped kitchens. Nice gym and giant outdoor hot tub.

Christopher checked us in and was very kind and helpful with our questions. He took extra time to make sure we had everything we needed. Great resort in a wonderful location. Highly recommend!
