Great experience. We made a lot of great memories here. If we ever come back to Costa Rica we will book here again.

Ranch-lile setting on edge of Vincon de la Vieja park. Pool is small but nice - great view of volcano. Room with 2 king beds was huge and clean. Would have liked more towels. Air conditioning was powerful. Not supposed to out toilet paper in toilet. Saw a ton of awesome birds off our back porch. Unfortunately, the staff building was behind us so we had to listen to their tv/radio. Food was passable at best. Staff service at meals was ok. Before you book one of their adventure tours, ask for details. We thought wed signed up for a driving tour of local waterfalls. The guide didn't mention that we'd be crossing 3 rivers barefoot, or that we'd be walking 6 miles on rough terrain in 95 degree weather. And that is ending our tour quite early because we were exhausted. When we asked him about the rest of the tour, he grossly downplayed the distance/time remaining. This may be right up your alley - just be clear on the specifocs because their website description wasn't accurate in our case.

Great stay!

The trails are real singletrack mountain biking trails. We went out for 3 hours and barely covered a quarter of the terrain. The waterfalls on the grounds are amazing. The variety of birds was amazing! It's best to have a car here because the best waterfall and the hot springs are a drive away. And the breakfast buffet was phenomenal: omelets made to order, pastries, fresh orange juice, fesh fruit, yogurt, granola, and hot food like fried plantains, stewed chicken, roasted yams etc. And everything is gluten-free - celiac heaven :-)

The property is clean and very well kept. Good options for dining. Nice pool area and good espresso!

Beautiful location with easy access to everything. Staff was incredible & the food was excellent. Loved the pool!

Wonderful stay!

The property is well kept, clean, and comfortable. The staff was excellent. The waterfals and hot springs were very enjoyable. My only complaint is that the mattresses are very hard, otherwise, we had a very nice stay and would highly suggest it.
