Lanna Palace 2004 Hotel

We highly recommend the hotel as the staff was friendly and helpful. It is clean and just 10 minutes walk to the Night Market.

Was just an overnight stay so served our purpose - the free breakfast was amazing!

I was very impressed. The hotel was older, but everything was still clean. If your expected new you will be disappointed. If you want clean but out dated a bit then this is for you. For the price I am not sure you can do better.

The hotel is not ideally situated but is comfortable and clean. Lacks atmosphere in the evening. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay as you could get to the old town by tuk tuk in5/6 minutes.

We did not enjoy our stay in Lanna Palace. It was dirty and we could not wait to leave. The lobby had a weird smell, the rooms had stains on the carpets, floors, and sheets, and on our first night I found multiple hairs in the bed sheets. The bathrooms were gross - cracks, and black scum or mold. I was in 3 rooms during my stay there and all had the same problem. The rooms were also dark. During the daytime, with the curtains open, the rooms looked okay but at night it was awful. The staff at the front desk also weren't particularly friendly. The exception was the woman who brought up the extra bed to our room to make it a triple. She was very kind, and asked lots of questions to make sure all of our needs were met. Lanna Palace was also in a great location - close to the old city. I would venture to say that there are probably better hotels for the same price that are also in a good location, so I would probably not stay here again.

Location near at Night Market and others location, many food outside hotel and near at entertaiment area and not so far from airport.

For the price paid, it was enjoyable enough. No complaints.

They say you pay for what you get. This hotel tried its best to be like a upper star hotel by opening doors, car or shuttle service and even looking large as a tall hotel on the outside. But in the end it's interior and rooms are very lack luster. Also the bunnies next door is very odd but funny view at night. For those budget cautious and really do not care where they sleep but want a place to sleep I see that this is ok for some but not ok for many others. Think about it as a great way to save money and enjoy your time out. Lack amenities such as blow dryers, and iron so just be ready to not need those items.

Room is good and big but the carpet is dirty. Wash room didn't have a hand hold shower. There are only one staff at the reception when check in at about 8:30pm. It does not have Coffee/tea maker in the room.

first, when i arrived the hotel with about six baggages which most belong to my friends, the staff at the gate didn't help me to carried the baggage ,even didn't open the gate of the hotel for me. second,i booked 2 rooms ,the staff in the reception said i just booked 1 room. i show her my itineraries and confirm letter of expedia,but her said the expedia booked through agoda and agoda just booked 1 room. i wait about 1 hour and she didn't do anything to help me and maybe abuse in thai when i ask her for hurry!
