Durant Inn & Suites

I asked for a receipt for our room so we could divide up the Bill. They said it had to come from Expedia. What a bunch of BS. Something wrong with a system where I can’t get a printout. Goodbye Expedia.

The bathroom wasn’t clean and we did not have any bath towels and only one washcloth

The bed was comfortable and the hotel allowed a late check in and check out.

The ac unit was filthy. The room needed the carpet cleaned or new carpet put in. It was not up to Hilton standards. The room did not have the clean feeling most Hilton facilities have. The breakfast had terrible rubbery eggs, hard boiled eggs with the shells still on and polish sausage for the breakfast meat. I picked this hotel even though it was more expensive because of the expectations I have for Hilton. I won’t pick it again I stayed at a less expensive hotel in the same town last year and it was just as good if not better than this one. This facility needs to step it up or remove the Hilton name.

Bought tickets to a concert in small town OK and couldn't find a room close to the venue. Hotels.com helped me find a room at the Durant Hampton some 30 miles away from the concert location. Paid in advance for the room. Decided we needed a second room so I booked that directly and was set to pay at the hotel upon arrival. As I was exiting the venue my phone rang and it was the front desk clerk at the Hampton Inn. In a "not so friendly tone", she asked if I was still coming to the hotel. I answered yes, and let her know what town I was in and that the event had just concluded. Not satisfied, she asked "what time will you be arriving"? She admonished me that check-in had to be completed by 11:00 PM. (Considering I had two rooms and one was paid in advance this seemed a bit unusual.) I said, "it will probably take me about 30 minutes or so to get to Durant". Apparently, that wasn't a sufficient answer and she demanded again to know "what time will you be arriving"? She then asked, "will you be here by 11:00 PM"? I completely guessed and said yes, realizing that even IF my estimate was correct, that would leave no time for us to eat on the way. So we drove like hell through the backwoods of OK on winding and dark roads and arrived with 10 min to spare. No personality, and no humor. We then went to get food. Next morning, she was back and cheery as hell. Maybe just a bad day or tire. Hotel was good, clean and well maintained.

You can hear talking and snoring thru the walls. No creamers or sugars for coffee bar in room.
