The bed OK.

The room is in the front of the building right in front of A507 roundabout very noisy, on double glazed window. 🎧

It was cheap

No facilities. Middle of nowhere and taxis difficult to book. We were going to a family wedding close by but not able to walk there. Rooms smelt of food and cigarettes. Furniture worn, bed uncomfortable, windows wouldn’t open. Carpets dirty.

No bathroom soap, couldn’t get bath plug out, water smell turned from slightly bleach to strong egg smell, one towel, 7 live flies in the room, reception sell drinks that aren’t cold, reception smell was strong urine smell, in the morning was a very strong joystick smell very overpowering

Where it was

Stairs, dirty, view from window, no hand soap, no plug for sink. No light shade. Blinds too small for window. Light outside shinning in and sun in the morning. Single bed had a hole or no springs at top end of bed. So she slept at other end. Black long hairs on tiles. Carpets filthy.

The room was quite spacious, cozy and comfortable. Bathroom was not cramped like so many hotels. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a sofa in the room as well. I never experienced any sound from other hotel guests, even though the hotel was fully booked.

There is no AC in the hotel, so surviving the summer heat can be tricky. Forced to keep the window open the whole time to keep a survivable temperature. The hotel is on a roundabout that has quite a lot of traffic, so there is some traffic noise when the window is open. Check-out time is early. Without a car, the nearest anything is 20+ minutes walk away, on the highway shoulder. Room service seems to be "by request" as my room was never cleaned. There was no indication of that, as far as I could see.

Friendly staff and clean spacious room. Needs a little TLC but all in all good value for money

Window was broken. That little annoying otherwise lovely people.

The staff were very kind and helpful. But it is worth for the price for a short stay.

Convenient location for my needs on that particular day. There's an excellent Turkish restaurant in the same building.

Reception is on the first floor. No lift. Very basic decor. Tired carpets etc. Room passable. Bed OK and clean. A large bath in the bathroom. Lighting OK. Everything a bit basic but OK for the price. Traffic noise which seems to go on all night and especially after dawn when boy racers take over the roads. Hotel is on a roundabout so lots of accelerating.
