Residence Inn Bryan College Station

This was our third stay at this property. The location is convenient and suites are a great size. Breakfast was great with wonderful staff. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The only concern this trip was the cleanliness of the suites. There were dishes in the dishwasher, sticky residue on the furniture, and clearly things on the carpet a basic vacuuming should have addressed. The front desk said they were short housekeeping staff so we will return to this property knowing staffing shortages are a greater issue than this property.

The front desk staff and management at the hotel were very accommodating. They communicated clearly what services they were offering at this time. During our stay, there were some shortages of staff due to the pandemic, but as a guest for two and half months, we never felt they were short staffed. The front desk staff were always friendly and responsive to our requests. The facility was dog / pet friendly and our kiddos enjoyed getting to meet pets that were there to visit as well. Rooms were clean and spacious and during our stay we had the opportunity to stay in the different size suites. Each suite was great. We spent most of our time in a two bedroom suite, which worked out great for our family. The kitchen in the room was great and allowed our family to cook meals and made the room feel like home. The only down side is that I now have to carry my groceries from my car to my house and cannot use a luggage trolly to do so! Would recommend this property to anyone visiting BCS.

The Residence Inn Bryan College Station is great place to stay while visiting students attending TX A&M. It is close to campus and within walking distance to numerous restaurants. It is also very pet friendly! There are plenty of safe areas nearby where you can walk your dogs. The cleaning ladies alway greet our dogs in the hallway! The staff make this property extra special. They are always friendly, kind, and courteous. We were greeted at checkin by Eddie, the GM. At first I was surprised to see him working on a Saturday, but then I noticed he was probably there to keep an eye on the painting crew. The hotel exterior is being painted. This is an older Residence Inn, but Eddie is consistently on top of maintenance and cleanliness, which one reason why we keep returning. It is our go-to place to stay when visiting College Station. He and Carolyn, an assistant manager, have been there since we started visiting in 2018. They always greet us with a smile and attempt to honor requests like a top floor room, early checkin, and late checkout, when possible. As stated previously, this hotel is consistently clean and well maintained, which is a real accomplishment during TX A&M’s football season. On this trip we met one of the housekeeping ladies, Katie. She was very friendly despite obviously working long hours. We appreciate her hard work and kindness. The rooms at this hotel are very spacious and clean. Sometimes the furnishings appear a little worn, but it you’ve been to College Station during football season, you know why. The beds are always comfortable. The AC alway and heat work. This is more than I can say for some lodging properties in CSTAT. This hotel is serving breakfast again, too. Thanks for another great stay! We’ll be back again, soon!

Hotel staff was great, room was perfect. Everything was clean and comfortable. will stay again next time in town.

This is one of the few hotels in the area that have two bedroom suites. We like to stay here so our grown children can have their own bedroom and we can have our own. It helps everyone have their own chill space and get away from one another after a hot Texas day.

I enjoyes the location but the room was not clean. Moved couch and trash everywhere. Took pics

I've stayed at this hotel a few times in the past, but I don't think I'll be coming back. The room & bed were comfortable, the parking was plentiful, and Wifi worked well, but I wasn't able to shower the entire time due to lack of hot (or even warm) water. My stay wasn't long enough to warrant housekeeping (which was fine), but I couldn't help but notice the very dirty stairwell was never vacuumed between the time I arrived at 3:00 Thurs until I checked out at 10 Saturday. I can understand many things being attributed to Covid like no breakfast buffet or Happy Hour snacks & even difficulty getting repair parts if the hot water heater was broken, but cleanliness should never be compromised. It really makes me wonder how thoroughly the rooms were really cleaned. Sadly there are just too many hotels to choose from in College Station to stay here again.

The TV in my room didn't work and the overall condition of the hotel seemed run down.
