Residence Inn Bryan College Station

Great room, good price

We stayed overnight at the College Station Residence Inn on the way to & from a wedding. Great stop over! We asked for quiet rooms away from University Blvd…got exactly what we wanted. Rooms were clean…much more so than the newer hotel we stayed in for the wedding. Breakfast was great. Real bacon on Friday! Canadian bacon this morning. Lots of breads, cereals, cheeses, yogurts, fresh bananas, apples, eggs, etc. I like that coffee is always available earlier…around 5:30’am. Norabel did an especially great job on Friday, October 7! This is an older Residence Inn that gets really banged up during each Aggie football season, but the maintenance crew does a good job of applying “bandaids” until the season ends & keeps as many rooms in service as possible to accommodate all the rowdy Aggies! Don’t expect rooms to be in perfect condition during football season, but they are consistently clean & well stocked. The front desk staff is always helpful and accommodating. We appreciated great customer service from Traci & John during this visit.

Proximity to Nearly Everything is a huge plus. The Staff were Super Helpful and Friendly.

I left a list of 10 items to correct with the front desk as I checked out today. The toilet rocked severely either because the bolts were broke or the flange was broke; the shower was either cold or scalding. No in between. The underneath of bed looked like a trash dump with used bottles , wads of paper, wads of paper towels, etc. The WiFi was the worst I have ever experienced. Either not enough width or too many users. The light cover in the toilet was missing exposing the bulb. I am not sure the last time the room was dusted but it must have been sometime last year.

A clean and very reasonable place to stay a couple of nights. Don't have any complaints. Maybe breakfast could have a couple of more options. The room's are nothing special but there's everything you need and its clean and comfortable, what you would expect from the price.
