Please take time to read this review. The resort is located on a hill with spectacular views down upon Kata, the beach and the ocean. The rooms are clean, modern and specious. But what really stands out is the service, which was exceptional. The hotel manager + staff tookt amazing care of us, super friendly and genuine. We are celebrating our honeymoon in Thailand and we got surprised with a free room upgrade to one of their villas which was truly amazing - it felt like we were in a movie. Highly recommend this resort!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 10 nights. It was our first time in Thailand. This hotel is absolutely stunning and staff are so friendly. The hotel is on a hill but was not a problem for us. There is a 7/11 at the bottom of hill. Hotel has shuttle to the beach from morning to night. Me and my partner were unwell a few days in I rang the front desk and the staff came to check on us and phoned a doctor for us they were amazing. We will be back thank you for a beautiful experience!

Hotel was really beautiful the pool area was amazing and so much space. The views of the beach were incredible. We used the spa a few times and the massages were so relaxing and great value for money. The hotel is on a hill but there’s regular shuttles to the beach and restaurant area. We ate in the hotel a few times and the food was really good. The staff are so helpful and friendly and they can’t do enough for you. Would definitely recommend and come back again

Great hotel with an amazing view of Kata Beach, very good breakfast, very good service, clean rooms, you just don't want to leave the hotel

We stayed here for 10 nights over Christmas and had a really good time , apart from when it was time leave which was a total disaster. We had Room 216, which had a big balcony and a nice pool view. Our room was looked after by Rai who done great job each day. Breakfast had plenty of choice. There were plenty of loungers and you could get a lounger at any time of day. The hotel is on a really steep hill, but the hotel runs a shuttle service to the beach and into the town. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Now to our departure, our transfer back to the airport was due at 6.20, but never showed up. So at about 6.40 we asked the boy’s at Guest Relations to phone us a taxi, which they both refused to do, eventually at 7.10 they decided to phone us a taxi. The two of them treated us like a big joke. So to say it wasn’t a great way to finish off our holiday is an understatement. We only just made our flight. The two boy’s on Guest Relations in my opinion are not fit for this job. Would we go back this hotel, after the way we were treated at the end of our stay I’d say , no thanks.

Andaman Cannacia Resort Kata Beach Great hotel, Great facilities let down by thier hand in your pocket before you enter your room! 1044468991 **Andaman Cannacia Resort & Spa** Our stay at the Andaman Cannacia Resort & Spa was a mixture of positives and disappointments. Unfortunately, the holiday began on a negative note. After 16 hours of travel, we arrived at 9:00am Thai time and were immediately asked to provide a 3,000 Baht deposit, followed by the unexpected news that breakfast was not included. We were charged 1,650 Baht (approximately £39) for two adults and one child. While we would not have objected to paying for breakfast, the quality was poor; the poached eggs were cold and the overall offering was lacklustre. For comparison, The Boathouse in Kata charges a similar amount for breakfast yet delivers a genuinely high‑end dining experience, which highlights the disparity in value. We were also informed that our room would not be available until 2:00pm—something we had not been made aware of, despite booking the holiday more than 18 months in advance with TUI. After such a long journey, this was particularly disappointing. Additionally, on the day of departure, our airport transfer was scheduled for 6:35am, meaning we could not make use of the included breakfast, yet the charge remained. Based on our experience, we would advise future guests to avoid relying on the reception and restaurant staff, as the service in both areas was consistently poor. Fortunately, there are many excellent dining options available in Kata. On a positive note, the room itself was excellent. It offered a beautiful view, and our cleaner was outstanding—she serviced the room daily and maintained it to a very high standard. The hotel’s facilities were also impressive. The multi‑tiered pool area was a pleasant place to relax, with sunbeds readily available throughout the day. The shuttle service to Kata Beach was punctual when departing from the hotel, though return journeys were occasionally delayed due to traffic. The driver was always courteous, recognised us each day, and made us feel welcome. Despite the shortcomings in service at reception and in the restaurant, we did enjoy aspects of our stay. However, when providing feedback regarding the restaurant and suggesting that breakfast be offered to guests arriving before the end of breakfast service, the response was met with a sarcastic smile and no verbal acknowledgement. This interaction encapsulated the overall service experience and ultimately influenced our decision that we would not return to this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Andaman Cannacia Resort in Kata Beach. The hotel is beautifully clean, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. The breakfast was fantastic every morning, with plenty of choice and something for everyone. Our room was big, spacious, and spotless, cleaned daily by a lovely room maid named Rai, who always greeted us with a smile. The pools were also very clean and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing throughout the day. All the staff were friendly, polite, and always smiling, which made the atmosphere even more welcoming. The location, although up on a hill, was absolutely perfect for us — the views were amazing and worth the short walk. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily return. A wonderful place to stay in Kata Beach!

Our Stay at Andaman Cannacia was truly amazing. Great vibes amazing staff and super location makes it a wonderful place to spend family time. Front desk staff needs to be given full credit for the warmth they share from checkin to checkout .... Mohit, May and rest of the team thank you. Rooms are well maintained and food is good. Location is good for family fun stay. All in all a wonderful Christmas holiday in phuket.
