Residence Inn Phoenix Desert View at Mayo Clinic

I want to thank the entire staff at the Residence Inn at Mayo Phoenix. They were so helpful and kind! We greatly appreciated Lisa, the waitress, at RiMix who was particularly kind and Pam at the front desk.

Mayo was very close

Our room was a bit dirty. The air conditioning unit was loud and would then turn off at night and heat would come on. Not ideal for Arizona temps. Free breakfast was never stocked. Didn’t matter what time we came down for breakfast. Guests had to tell staff that the food was out, instead of them checking. Those kitchen employees were rude and lazy. We heard from other guests that stay here often that the situation with the free breakfast is always the same. They are always “ out” of food.

Extremely convenient when you are a patient at Mayo Clinic.

I don’t like being charged for parking in an open parking lot anyone could park in - $14 charge per day to park

Great location, especially if you need to be at the Mayo Clinic. Staff was very nice places, clean and comfortable.

I can't say enough about Stephanie at the bar/restaurant in the lobby! She goes out of her way from saving my life by providing a charge cord for my phone when I forgot mine, to making sure my requested room is available when I stay there weekly. Her service level is impeccable in every way. If I were management, I would promote her and give her a raise! She is the reason I stay there weekly!

I’ve stayed here before and it was great, this second time was alright. The first room we got into the air conditioning didn’t work. It’s the beginning of July so it was 112 degrees. We waited almost two hours to get a new room. The pull out couch was not sleep able. It was too uncomfortable to sleep my mom had to share the bed with me. Other than that the hotel was nice.

parking charge added when you already pay a premium because it is located next to Mayo Hosp. (PHX) . Room is roomy but needs an update. Walk in shower floods bathroom. I will not stay there again.
