Wenjin Hotel

Good location with shops and restaurants within walking distance. There are several bus lines right outside the entrance. The staffs are very courteous and helpful. The room is very clean. The on site restaurant is very good. The only shortfall is that the floor in the shower stall is tilted in an angle that the water can’t be properly drained. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. We will definitely comeback if visiting this area again.

This is a wonderful hotel. The decor is very elegant, the carpets are plush, and they keep it up very well. Everything works - the hot water, elevators, phones, etc. The front desk does not speak English well, but the Bell Captain does and all of them have been extremely kind and helpful. Our group had a major problem - a Board member forgot that his reservation started on Sunday and was very upset when he arrived on Tuesday and had no room, and they may him pay again. But they resolved that problem. They were completely honest and clear about what happened, after we were able to overcome the language barriers. I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know coming to Beijing and staying in the Haidian district.

Although we new no Chinese, the staff was very good about finding someone to translate for us. Food for room service was very good and served right on time.

We stayed here for five nights. The standard room is spacious, clean, and well lit. The king-sized bed is quite comfortable. The location is convenient with multiple bus lines and two subway lines within walking distance. All staff are friendly. Definitely will stay here again next time we visit Beijing!

I found the room hot and comfortable. The central heating system was the problem since guests are not given the leeway to change room temperature.

A very good hotel, but a little over priced and old. Location is perfect, as Peking University and Tsinghua University are both nearby. Walking distance to shopping centers,, restaurants and public transportations.

The decor is a bit old and out updated. The first time I stay in this hotel was just after the Olympic games and the condition was superb. The carpet in the room was spotty. The reception of wireless wifi is weak. However, if you are visiting Tsinghua University, this is perhaps the best place to stay.
