Pleasant. Very helpful staff. Clean. Western accommodations.

An excellent value for the money. I got an executive room that included entry into the executive lounge & breakfast. Nice room, very clean, good service. The only negative: almost no employee spoke English.

This is a nice hotel and quite comfortable. It's also very convenient if you wish to visit the Google offices or Tsinghua University. It does, however, have a few issues. There is no in-room wifi for example. I've also noticed that the air filtration is poor - I sleep with a CPAP and the particulate filters get dirty very quickly, indicating that the hotel does not filter the Beijing smog very well.

Good rate, fairly spacious rooms, older but clean facilities. Only issue I came across was that the staff spoke very little English. I had some issues with internet and getting a taxi because of the language barrier, but to their credit, they tried very hard to accommodate my requests nonetheless.

Hotel location and service is good. But construction, the finishing and overall workmanship of the building is really poor. At glance it seems shiny and nice, but not up to the western standards. this can be seen in everything: tiles, wall finishings, joints, sealings and so on.

The hotel lobby and resteraunts are fine, but the room is lack of maintanence. The bathroom smells. There is an upper limit of 2 towels and 1 bar soap for each room every day.

The hotel is fine if things go well. But any issues are hard to resolve. When I arrived the staff seemed to have no idea about their 'executive' floor, which I had booked through an upgrade. I have no Chinese and the reception staff had almost no English. It took a good half hour to get the situation resolved. For the first four days I saw no one else on my floor or exec breakfast room. My room was fine at first sight. But details suggest a rush job, poor painting qualtiy, a balcony door gaffer taped shut. The toilet became blocked for no obvious reason (!) but was never fixed. A few problems with food too - out of date bottled juices on offer for breakfast. The location is to the northwest of the city - two subways ten minutes walk away help get into town, but it is a half hour ride. It is handy for the Summer Gardens, three stops up the line. A nearby technology park offers fair food.

No WiFi and whole hotel smells food. Some hotel people spoke English. Room was clean and quiet.
