Hotel Hacienda Don Juan

The hotel has beautiful landscaping we even seen peacocks roaming the hotel grounds. The hotel looks like its from the old western days, that's the good. This is the bad bathroom was too compact and there was no heater or air-conditioning other than that it was not that bad.

We were there to attend a wedding and the staff was very helpful. I must say the resturant (Monica) and desk (Mauricio) staff were the friendliest I have seen in quite a while. They went out of their way to make our eating and room experience a pleasure. I especially enjoyed the fireplace in the room and resturant. Our friends involved many English speaking persons and the staff put forth extra effort to accomodate them. Taxis were plentiful. The gardens were beautiful including the 2 peacocks. Definately will go back.

Good option to visit san cristobal, but far from downtown

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was so wonderful and accommodating. The staff helped me figure out my trip and recommended which sites to see. One of the nights I was not able to make one of the tours. The hotel offered me and my friends a private tour to various places and then they would drop us off at the airport. The price was a little high for us so the hotel attendant made a call and got us a cheaper rate with another company. That showed so much integrity on his behalf and the hotel. He booked us with another company which was not affiliated with the hotel offered tours. I would definitely go back and stay at this hotel.

Very pleasant, would recommend to anybody. Has a feeling of real Hacienda Mexicana.

This hotel is fantastic ! The only reason i did not give it a 5 rating was because it was damo and cold during my stay and there was no wood for the stove. Housekeeping did give extra blankets, though. The owner works next door and came by tgo meet and welcome me. Beautiful hacienda !

The hotel was beautiful, the rustic charm and fireplaces in each of the rooms made a wonderful getaway.

This was a gorgeous Mexican Style hotel, so full of details! The food in its restaurant is delicious and the service is outstanding. I got a cold and throat infection, and the manager went out of his way, took me to the doctor, waited for me, brought me back, and everybody was very accomodating. I definitely recommend this hotel!!! Bring sweaters because San Cristobal gets cold and humid!

Romantic Hacienda with charm and lovely details high in the mountains. Very friendly stuff and a warm welcome by the owner.

The hotel is so nice the atmosphere is excellent and the staff helpful, what else do you neat on a holiday trip. I will recommend however this hotel is outside of the centre but the taxi is only 20 pesos and is so relax and so nice.
