Daytona Beach Resort

Not as described, they do not let you know in advance that the amenities are closed and the rates are non-refundable. We did not stay, we found a nearby hotel to enjoy our time at the beach. When you try to contact them you do not get a response.

Run from this place!! It’s an abandoned hotel that an Air BnB company has taken over with no management, maintenance, or accountability. It’s an awful experience. Everything is closed and shut down. There are three empty dirty pools. No kiddie pool. The restaurant is a ghost town. Don’t be fooled by the affordable prices, you don’t even get what you paid for at this point, it is a scam. There is no staff to directly help you with problems because they consider it Air BnB owner’s responsibility. You will waste your money here. I almost feel bad for the air bnb owners because I can see they tried to make their room nice, but it cannot make up for a falling apart building that is falsely advertised on the website.

Suite was clean, front desk check-in was fast and friendly. Enjoyed breakfast & dinner in the cafe. Great stay, will definitely visit again.

Property was short on staff as well as they were doing maintenance to the building there was no parking. Breakfast buffet was closed due to short staff.

We loved everything! This place deserves more than its rated!

I love that it was on the beach. I love that it had an indoor poor and outdoor pools. I loved the pool bar. What was disappointing was the limited parking due to the parking garage being closed. They were short on linen every time I went to the front desk to get linen so I had to go to the store and purchase some so that we could bathe. The restaurant was closed for maintenance. The elevator near our room wasn’t working. I’ve been to this hotel several times and loved it but this visit was very disappointing.

Parking deck was not available. Towels and rags were not available during the entire stay. Had to go buy linens from the Dollar General. Was told they were backed up from the previous holiday weekend.

Our room was so dirty and the mattress had stains all over it. There were so sheets and blankets and only had 1 towel in the room

This hotel should be closed down. We got our first room and the pullout couch was the nastiest, dirtiest , rotten mattress I have ever seen. I do have pictures and like to show them to you. The front desk people did not care about the conditions of the room. We went to the front desk and they changed rooms for us and charged us an upgrade fee. When getting to the second room the pullout couch has an air mattress. I called the front desk to see if they have an air pump to pump up the mattress. They told me very rudely that there are no air mattresses in this facility. I told ask her if I should take a picture of it and bring it to her since I was looking at it. She send a manager up and he did not know what to do. He offered to move us again. We declined Ed since it was late now and we needed to sleep. My son slept on the pullout couch as is. The light at the door was flickering so fast that we could not use it at all. Again no one cared about it. The hotel also does not have pool towels to offer and no more breakfast. Very very dissatisfied with the staff and the hotel.

Pros: No bed linen for sofa bed, spoke with nice lady and requested and received quickly. She sent maintenance to bring them to us. Burger and drinks were good from bar. Cons: Kitchen closed early (7pm) on Saturday although site says 8pm. No bath cloths. Requested them, was told someone would be bringing them. Didn’t receive them and called back 20 mins later & was told by a different, very rude lady that they didn’t offer that service and if we wanted them we had to come get them. I asked about housekeeping and she repeated “We don’t offer that service.” My reservation clearly states that they do. So, my Husband went to get them and was told by the SAME lady that said we had to come get them that there aren’t any. The next day, I request pool towels. I was told they are being washed and to call back so she has a chance to check on a time with housekeeping of when they’d be ready. I call back 30mins later and I’m told that they’re none available and there aren’t any gonna be given. Just a mess to sum it up! Resort too expensive gi not have basic amenities!
