Hotel Du Vin & Bistro Tunbridge Wells

Left early so didn’t sample the breakfast unfortunately

We booked to stay here as we were going to the Assembly Rooms opposite for the evening. I had booked everything online including parking. When we arrived we found our parking bay at the front of the hotel, very well marked and easy to park. We were greeted by Sophia who was very friendly and helpful she confirmed we did not need to pay for parking until we checked out. We had booked a cosy double but were gratefully upgraded. This was an unexpected treat. Our new room was spacious and beautifully decorated with the biggest bathroom and huge walk in shower which when we used was blissful hot and a perfect pressure. We checked out the next morning and Viktoria was very kind and helpful explaining we were welcome to leave the car parked and wander down through the town for breakfast and coffee and come back when we were ready, there was no pressure to remove the car. We had a perfect stay, the staff were lovely and the hotel is really nice. Great for a wander round town as it’s very central. Thanks for everything we will be back later in the year.

The rooms are clean and comfy but a tad tired. Very hot!

We had the most marvellous stay. We have not met a more dedicated and kind staff in a hotel before (including the other Hotel du vins). Every member of staff was thoughtful, friendly and had great tips and advice; reception, dinner and breakfast staff. Made our stay. We ate dinner and breakfast and it was delicious. Great portion and the taste was perfect. Compliments to the kitchen! We will stay again.

The staff is so welcoming. They made me feel smart and funny throughout my stay.

Hotel Du Vin Tunbridge Wells hosted a Celebration of Life event following my father’s funeral, and they helped to turn a difficult day into a pleasant occasion for the family and guests. Throughout the process of arranging the booking we found the staff helpful and patient, guiding and advising us through the choices that we needed to make. The event was well planned and went smoothly, the catering and service were first class and we felt that we were treated with genuine care. Our thanks go out to Sophia, Tiffany and team.
