Property Notes

We are currently enhancing our building with upgrades like new windows, gutters and a refreshed chimney; part of our commitment to an even better guest experience. Work is scheduled until mid-June, and you may notice some scaffolding and daytime noise during this period. Thank you for your patience as we make these positive changes. When booking 6 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply. The property will contact the guest following their reservation. When traveling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for maximum 2 dogs, per night. Dogs are allowed in designated guest rooms-please notify the hotel in advance. Please note extra beds and cots must be confirmed with the hotel prior to arrival, customers will be required to settle children's extra bed charges (£30 per night) directly with the hotel. The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our seasonal menu and a side dish. Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply for adults. Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel: 0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/ 12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price. Kids Dinner Menu also available. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Amazing weekend away from London"

We had an amazing stay at HDV in Tunbridge Wells this weekend. We brought our dog and the room was already equipped with doggy welcome bag, bed and bowls. Victoria at the reception made us a very smooth check in process and very clear explanation about the room, hotel and the town. Marlon and Patrycja from the restaurant and bar team even topped our stay with great hospitality for both dinner and breakfast, with little treats for our dog to ensure we had also enjoyed the meals. The room was fully equipped, spacious and clean. The garden and terrace are tranquil we do not want to leave. Could not recommend more and we will definitely come back.

We had a fantastic lunch at Hotel du Vin, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. Patricia went above and beyond, she was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding!  It was truly the best I’ve ever had. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. A special thank you as well to Sebastian and Alex for their excellent service and attention to detail. If you’re looking for charm, exceptional food, and top-notch service, look no further. Hotel du Vin is an absolute must to visit!

Wonderful experience at Hotel du Vin! From the moment we arrived, Sam at check-in set the tone—welcoming, personable, and incredibly helpful in guiding us through everything. Our room was incredibly comfortable and spotless—the level of cleanliness really stood out and made our stay even more relaxing. Rebecca, the bartender, was a standout—she remembered our names and drink preferences, made us feel completely at ease, and added such a fun, engaging energy to our evening. Dinner was truly out of this world—the best dining experience we’ve had since arriving in England. Huge kudos to Chef Tomaz for an absolutely delicious meal. And a special thank you to our servers, Sonny and Alex, who took exceptional care of us. We felt completely pampered from start to finish. Highly recommend—an unforgettable stay and dining experience!
