Victoria Railway Hotel

Beautiful old Hotel that has been well renovated on the outside. We only stayed one night. The Reception staff were very helpful, the Hotel clean and adequate and close to restaurants and shops. We did think that $180 AUD per night was a little expensive.

This Hotel is a great place to stay in terms of both comfort and location. It is just a short walk into the town and to restaurants. The Hotel is an Historic Landmark and has so much character. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking both charm and comfort.

Lovely old building close to centre of town. Staff were excellent.

This is a lovely heritage hotel which retains many of its original features. We were greeted by the friendly young couple who are managing the hotel. Our room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. We had a drink in the small bar and ate dinner and breakfast in the dining room. Both meals were very good value. There is a lovely sitting room/library for guests to use. The experience is that of a private hotel or a B&B where the guests have the opportunity to meet and chat if they wish to. It is a small, family-owned concern and is very well kept. We would definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful old hotel. The food was fabulous and we were made feel very much at home.

Attractive historic building, as well modernised as constraints allowed, very much boutique.

Single night in a driving tour and was ideal. Good rooms, great welcome.
