Victoria Railway Hotel

Always happy to stay here, not my first visit and won't be my last! Beautiful building and everything as it should be.

The proprietor was very helpful. He assisted with dinner reservations and travel plans for the rest of our Scenic Southern Route drive. I believe they felt that we were in the best room in the hotel because it was HUGE, but there was very little air circulation on the 3rd floor, so we had all the windows open to get some fresh air. The immediate neighborhood is a little sketchy, but is walkable to the central business district and lovely park.

Only had one night here but glad we stayed. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We had a room on the ground floor looking onto the street and one slight downside was that we were disturbed by the noise from the early starters the next morning. However the room and en suite bathroom were spotlessly clean and comfortable.

Very well appointed room in lovely heritage hotel. Good and quiet and a lovely bathroom. Nice breakfast in hotel dining room. Close to a few restaurants in the Main Street.

Nothing fancy but really comfortable and well placed for the town! Georgie and Aaron were very friendly and helpful hosts. Would definitely stay there again!

On a main street that is fairly quiet except in the morning due to the kids at the Y (but the were not too loud). My bed was really comfortable and my room was fairly large. The staff greeted me upon arrival as if I had stayed before (which I hadn't ) and they made sure I had everything I needed for my stay in their hotel and for my visits I'm the city. The only thing I would recommend for the hotel is air fresheners in the hallways, since it is an old historic building things can get a bit stale. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Great friendly reception from Aaron, he was very helpful with a hot water problem and did everything to make us feel at home. Glorious hotel in beautiful period condition. Rooms comfortable and warm. Very relaxing and a great value place to stay. But book ahead they do fill up and with good reason. Easy walking distance to pubs and restaurants.

Beautiful hotel. Lovingly restored to its original glory. Very clean and well presented. and free Wifi with unlimited devices!
