Victoria Railway Hotel

A quick one night stopover. Very cool old style hotel. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Great location with easy access to shops, restaurant, and roads in and out of town.

Lovely clean hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. No issues .... I could suggest thicker drapes as room was very lit up due to street lights....just a minor issue :-)

We think this place was a real find. The views from the room were not great due to the location but the staff were friendly and helpful and the place had a homely feel that you might not get with more 'boutique' accommodation. There were nice little touches like quality soft furnishings and antique and retro furniture. We wish the owners well with this business.

Room was clean, service was good overall very good

Very simple but comfortable room with great bathroom, cozy downstairs bar, and friendly, super helpful hosts who will cook a hot breakfast to order and volunteer the most scenic way to drive wherever you are headed within walking distance of several pubs and small, local restaurants close to Queen's Park and the Southland Museum. Gerrard's Restaurant closed on Friday night, at least in the off-season, which was a surprise -- a fun stay in an historic Victoria hotel.

Charming historic hotel in a better part of the city. Run by a nice young lady and gentleman, the hotel has a unique charm almost more bed and breakfast than hotel. You can feel that the city is a transient one with visitors probably not staying more than a day or two on their way to their next stop. Large parking garage located next door and walking distance to shops and restaurants and a big city park. The rooms were quieter than I expected but could use a little updating on the decor. The staff was very friendly and able to help with any questions or suggestions. All in all - a nice little stay.
