Candlewood Suites Houston Medical Center by IHG

just nasty and ghetto. bugs, stains on doors, walls and, sheets. just pitiful they need to shut this down. can’t even sleep cause of how uncomfortable i am in here.

This building is not a good representation of a Candlewood. The lobby was filled with the front desk attendants children laying around. The trim on the cabinets is falling apart, there was slime on the door, mold in the light fixture in the bathroom.

This place was disgusting.

The beds were comfortable and the AC in the room worked well. But ice maker in freezer didn't work and there's no ice maker in the building. Pool is out of order. The transportation advertised is only M-F.

This property wasn’t clean. The tv didn’t work. The time on the tv was off so you couldn’t get any live tv and it wouldn’t connect to any internet so there was no ability to watch tv. The bed smelled and there were hardly any towels for the shower. They had shampoo and conditioner and body wash but it was hard to get the body wash out of container. There was no mat in the bathtub so I was careful as it felt a bit slippery. All in all we booked this place to go to a concert in the area. The cleanliness had a lot to be desired. Small interaction with staff but they were friendly.

Chose this hotel because of the indoor pool which was out of service and the whole place smelled like marijuana. The room itself was not bad but chose this place for the gym, hot tub, and pool which was non accessible ☹️

Well the pool was not opened. Under maintenance. Room was not cleaned the next day. Guess not enough staff available.
