Fairfield Inn & Suites Columbia

We stayed here as my mom was having an extensive surgery at MU. The first night, I should have brought my complaints to the desk but was trying not to be that person. Upon check in, I was left standing at the desk until the conversation they were having was finished in the back. We found a dirty sock behind the fridge. Pillows were terrible and had to be folded to have any fluff to them. Linens were dirty and stained and room reeked of MUST. Toilet did not flush properly and ran all night. Carpets are nasty so make sure to bring house shoes and/or slides!! I left a note for housekeeping and spent the next 13 hours at the hospital to come back to NO housekeeping at all. Come to find out “they only do housekeeping at the 2nd or 3rd day.” NEVER was made aware of this or I would have requested. After a long day at the hospital, I spent the first half hour tidying the room when I returned. Had to ask for additional towels and pillows and do it myself! Attempted to relieve some stress in the “fitness center” amenity but it was tiny and equipment was filthy with dried sweat all over it. Looked as if it had not been wiped down…. EVER. The price per room per night is literally ROBBERY with the upkeep and experience here!

Broken shower, parking was terrible

The front desk staff at check in was friendly and welcoming. Continental Breakfast has great options, coffee available downstairs with extra pods to take back to your room. Clean, comfortable accommodations.

Management was great and the people I encountered were good people

Be aware, I booked this hotel for Missouri's homecoming weekend months ago and they recently cancelled my reservation due to an "error" in their system. Furthermore, they wouldn't even talk to me but just ignored emails and referred me to the Marriott -1-800 number. I could have made a reservation at any other hotel at the time but now they are all sold out. I guess there is no point to making a reservation, having status at Marriott hotels or staying at this particular location outside of game day weekends if they can just cancel your reservation.

Ii am sorry but the cleanliness of the hotel was bit off the mark. Also, the shower products dispensers were empty. The toilet handles were dirty. The breakfast area was clean and good, however. Other than that, it was a place to rest our heads for a late night.

Easy on-off to the I 70. Comfortable and clean Beds and pillows nice and soft Breakfast was good with waffles, eggs, yogurt, and other foods. Check in and check out were easy!

This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. The room was dirty, the curtains hung down from the rod, you couldn’t close the middle section of the window, so light streamed in, and you could hear everything outside the window. The phone was broke, there was water all over the counter in the bathroom for no apparent reason. I had reserved three rooms and they all smelled terrible. The pool and hot tub were very dirty, and there was a floating chlorine tab in the pool, which is hazardous to swimmers, not to mention the pool is extremely small. My children were not comfortable in the pool so we didn’t even use it. We left as early as possible because we didn’t want to stay in the disgusting smelly hotel any longer than we had to. The smell was so bad it almost made us vomit. Do not stay here.
