The Village Lodge

This is my new favorite place to stay in Mammoth. Usually I stay at the condos by canyon lodge when I’m with a large group and I recently tried limelight as a solo weekend. The Village Lodge is by far my favorite out of the three options. The location is tremendously convenient and they have a shuttle service to take you wherever you need to go outside of the village so it makes my life easier since I fly up and don’t have a car. Mandy at the front desk was extremely helpful throughout my weekend. If I really wanted to be nitpicky, the soap in the rooms is a bit drying, but I’ll just pack my own for next time. Overall I can’t wait to be back next season.

Location, ease of use.

The location is excellent. Very short walk to the gondola to the Canyon Village base of the ski slopes. We rented gear at the base of the gondola and could leave everything there overnight - could not have been easier. Very good pizza available nearby. Bus service to shopping center is nearby. Staff were very friendly and satisfied requests promptly.

Condo fittings could do with a refresh. Cooking knives were not very sharp. Limited closet space with no shelving. Could use more hooks on the wall for clothing. Not as nice a unit as we had when we stayed here 2 years ago - that's the risk with privately owned condos.

The location of this place is beautiful and kept very clean! The service here is excellent!! My kids loved the pool and the jacuzzi. It was heated so we all went as soon as we got here. We felt like home away from home. I wanna point out one of the supervisors Antonio, he made us feel welcomed beyond belief. Thank you so much for your hospitality, you have earned a forever customer!

We had a great trip to Mammoth staying at this resort:) I am especially grateful to the housekeeping staff, and especially Gladys, for helping me with returning a lost item that I left in the room. Thank you!

My two sons and I recently spent 4 glorious nights here at the Village Lodge. Everything couldn't have been more streamlined and comfortable. We arrived late and Antonio at the front desk was so kind and accommodating! We had quick easy access to the Gondola so we never had to use our car. The pool and hot tubs were amazing. We loved walking around the village at night and enjoyed the nearby brewery as well. Highly recommend!
